Dragon Age Inquisition Fereldan Lock Novels & Stories

“Speak. What did you find?” The first man, an older warrior named Terron, bowed his head. “We followed the trail, Alpha. The scent led us beyond the eastern woods and close to the Feral pack. We could smell Darius there. The tracks were fresh, and we are sure they crossed into that land.” Rowland leaned forward, his hands gripping the table. “And did you enter? Did you see Darius and the girls?” The second man, Darel, shook his head. “We tried, Alpha. But you know the Feral pack. They are defensive, especially in these days when unrest spreads among many packs. They allow no strangers near their gates without strict purpose.”

My claws tore a deep, jagged shred into the leather fold of my tunic as the console screen before me violently hemorrhaged its data. Selene swiveled from her workstation, her throat emitting a wet, desperate snarl before she slammed an empty horn of wolfsbane onto the slate counter. “The Northern Dominion just deployed a parasitic blood-lock on their master ledger, Ebu! The moment my digital scent brushed their Cayman mirror, the ancestral proxy-nodes began tracing my bloodline straight back to Shadowfang Manor!”

“Which means two things: One—Selene isn’t just reacting to the seals. The seals are reacting to her. Two—someone wants the locks to break.” Fenrir’s hands curled into fists. “Then we stop them.” Gabriel exhaled. “We will. But we need information first. Answers. And those answers aren’t going to be underground anymore.” Winter tilted his head. “So… we go where?” Gabriel looked over the mountain ridge, toward the distant line of silver trees shimmering under the sunlight. “The Elven Capital,” he said. “The archives. The ancient halls. Fenrir’s home.”

He quickly told his story. "I was assigned the care of Fergal yesterday, and I took him for exercise. He didn't return like usual and I spent most of the evening looking for him. I just found him, my Queen, by a small window at the far end of the keep. It doesn't make sense how he got there. He had something tied to his talon…" Niamh held out her arm and the Falcon obediently flew to her. Fergal had a piece of cloth tied to one of his talons. When Niamh looked closer, she gasped. It was the ensign of the sovereign house of Broinar. The King's house. Lorcan was, or had been, here.

"I need Mr. Laird to relocate his family grave. It might seem like an unreasonable request, but it has to be done. Could you ask your father if he can help make this happen?" Given everything Felix had done for her family, Wendy could not refuse to try at least. "Of course, let me make a quick call." This unusual request stemmed from Felix detecting one of the ancient dragon's spine fragments in the area. Since his meridians had evolved and the dragon scale had fully bonded with him, he could sense all nine spine fragments of the ancient dragon within a certain range. According to Gerald, most fragments were marked on the map he provided. However, there was always the possibility that some h

Her jaw ached from being broken several times and healing far too slowly without the help of her wolf. She took in a deep breath and perceived the sharp tang of residual silver on the torture instruments, the metallic scent of her blood, and the antiseptic smell of raw salt scattered all over every surface, the floor included. The salt served a dual purpose of burning fiendishly on her open wounds and leaving no room for infection. Today was the day, she thought. The pack had a visitor. She'd heard from a loquacious guard saying too much. That was probably why they had been too distracted to pay much attention to her torture. A distraction that she would utilize to free herself.

“I’m sure everyone has heard why we’re having this meeting today. Since we are running out of time, I won’t go into too much detail. Let’s get to the point right away,” Carwyn announced. “There is a Dragon’s terrain in Helsby Mountain. In order to be completely resistant against the erosion of the Devil’s Eye’s hellish lava, one must wear the Cooter Armor from the Iron Family of the Southern Sea to enter it. My son, Vlad, has a high chance of becoming a Demigod. He’ll be able to be the new Demigod of our family if he can wear the Cooter Armor and enter Helsby Mountain to obtain the Dragon’s terrain.

I would love to put everything on the back burner and take Jadenne for her first run immediately but unfortunately, there were some rather pressing matters at hand. Before I took Jadenne back to the Half Moon pack to gather her belongings, I wanted some answers from the pathetic swine we were holding. I had linked with Felicity earlier to ask her if she would take Jadenne shopping so that she could get some clothes and I could finally get some answers. Of course, Felicity jumped at the chance to get to know my mate.

"That's not even up for questioning girl. You know him. You saw me kill him. Our entire empire with be in jeopardized if I let you walk out of here alive." "So are you or not going to kill me then?" "I can't kill you, but I can give you this: stay here; stay here with Marcello; by his side." "What?" "I don't know or care what he'll make of you: girlfriend, concubine, wife or whatever! Just stay here and you'll be safe and alive." Serena pulled of her hoodie and threw it across the room, exposing her snake tattooed cover arms. A vibrant green viper circled across her wrist. From a far one would think it was a bravely but no! It was her most precious permanent inking.

“There has to be a way to shut it down.” “There is,” Draven said. Kaelor frowned. “And?” Draven’s eyes stayed on Aurenya. “You go inside.” The reaction was immediate. Rhydan. “Absolutely not.” Kaelor. “That’s not happening.” Aurenya didn’t speak. But her silence was worse. Because she was listening. Not rejecting. Listening. Draven continued anyway. “The lock isn’t external,” he said. “It’s mirrored.” Kaelor narrowed his eyes. “Meaning?”
