The Awakening of Slave

The Awakening of Slave

There was only one creature who made that sound. “Ferals,” Thor said, his eyes wide. Ferals were terrifying beasts that roamed the forests between the sectors. Part wolf, part something else, they had red eyes and limbs that bent in strange directions. They also had a blood lust that ruled their senses. They were fast. They were viscous. And by the sounds of it, they were headed right towards us. “They must have released ferals into the forest,” Thor said. “We’re not dying quick enough. The nobility is getting restless. So they’re trying to speed up the process. We…”

WILD DESIRES TAMELESS HEART

WILD DESIRES TAMELESS HEART

The "Feral-Reset" wasn't a bomb or a gas. It was a frequency—a "Primal-Scream" designed to trigger the most violent, unguided instincts of the Lycan biology. As the Architects activated the signal, Rhea felt her mind fracture. The "sweetness" of the pack-bond was replaced by a red haze of pure, mindless aggression. Her wolf didn't want to protect; it wanted to tear. It wanted to kill Marcus, to rip the throat out of Sela, to feast on the very people she had sworn to save.

FERAL MOON: CLAIMED BY THE LYCAN KING

FERAL MOON: CLAIMED BY THE LYCAN KING

“I brought my mate.” Murmurs erupted. “A human cannot be Luna,” another elder snapped. “The land will reject her.” “She carries no wolf,” said a third. “No lineage.” Ares smiled. It was not kind. “You presume too much,” he said. Varrek narrowed his eyes. “Is it true the bond is feral?” The chamber stilled. Ares’s silence was answer enough. Several alphas shifted uneasily. “That kind of bond has not existed for centuries,” Varrek pressed. “It is unstable. Dangerous. You risk losing control.”

Marked by fate

Marked by fate

A feral wolf. I’ve never seen one before, but I’ve heard stories. They are worse than rogues, because without their human they are utterly devoid of any compassion or sanity. Briefly, I feel sorry for this wolf. Given his size and colour, he’s clearly an Alpha, or maybe a powerful Beta. The only reason they tend to go feral is banishment or the loss of their mate. This poor soul. What happened to make him like this?

The Runaway Breeder

The Runaway Breeder

Chapter 2 As the pack territory slowly passes by, I decide to rest my eyes. Breeders are given an area on the far-west side of the territory where no one will be able to disturb them. That area is patrolled and guarded day and night. It will be a community I call home for however long my stay is, but deep down, I know I can never allow the cottage I will be living in to be my home. A prison, yes, but never my home.

Alpha VS Omega' Twin VS Twin (A Dark Werewolf Romance)

Alpha VS Omega' Twin VS Twin (A Dark Werewolf Romance)

POV: Callum | The Feral Den The Feral Den after a successful raid has a specific atmosphere that I have come to recognize and which is different from the Feral Den after a hard night or an ordinary night. It is not celebratory. It is the atmosphere of people who have done a difficult thing and who are processing the fact that it needed to be done, and who are trying to work out what doing it has cost them and what it means they need to do next.

A Baby for the Dragon

A Baby for the Dragon

Spencer must have sensed the change in my mood, because he tightened his grip on my thigh and leaned in closer to me. Swallowing hard, I let out a shaking breath. “I’m not sure where to start, so tell me what it means to turn feral. Don’t gloss over it, I want to know every detail.” Adam’s lips parted and he stopped moving, stopped breathing. “He would lose himself to his beast.” Spencer said, pulling my attention to him. “The man that he is would be gone. He wouldn’t be human and his instincts would be to hurt those around him until he gets taken out by his Tarak.”

any pain, but they were in a constantly stimulated state. The idea of ruts and heats was to force procreation. It was the animalistic way of self-preservation. A man who took a mate but never touched her would eventually fall into rut or she would go into heat, making one another irresistible. The problem was a female in heat. The pain was severe and could even be life threatening. This was why it was so hard for a female to fight off a male when they were in heat. Their bodies took over for them and they craved being connected with a male. This was what I had to fight against. The situation was bad. With several males going into rut, they would end up fighting. Their feral instincts would

If you haven't read a JM Snap book yet, you will not regret it. The stories are woven together perfectly. You will laugh, cry and probably scream too. So far this book has, betrayal, mates, vampires, a jealous woman and secrets. I'm sure it's gonna be a great book!

This is by far 1 of the BEST books I have EVER read. This Author's mind is truly brilliant. You can vividly see when someone has found their passion & is invested in their craft. In true honesty I'm amazed at the different depths in which this Author's mind is able to go. Extraordinarily Brilliant!

Alpha's Feral Kitten

Alpha's Feral Kitten

She won't understand at first what’s happening to her, and she'll be prone to thinking the worst, like any neglected thing like her would be. “We all have to tread carefully,” I tell Dom. “We can't risk spooking her, she's in too much danger from Spader. We have to keep her safe by any means necessary.” I can smell her scent everywhere, that ripe peach smell. The Wolf inside me is pacing like a caged animal, which he is. He wants to claim her, mark her as our territory, and raise her up as a queen. But patience is how we will win her. Just like with any little feral stray, patience and restraint are the keys to unlocking her trust. Patience, restraint, and little gifts to show her she'll be

Feral characters in literature often embody raw, untamed nature, contrasting sharply with civilized society. Think of Mowgli from 'The Jungle Book' or Enkidu from the 'Epic of Gilgamesh'—these figures straddle the line between human and beast, their wildness serving as a critique of human arrogance or a symbol of lost innocence. Authors use them to explore themes like identity, belonging, and the cost of domestication. Their struggles resonate because they mirror our own tensions between instinct and reason.

What fascinates me is how modern stories like 'Where the Crawdads Sing' reinterpret ferality through Kya, whose isolation makes her both an outsider and a force of nature. It’s less about literal wildness and more about resisting societal constraints. The term evolves, but that primal energy—whether liberating or destructive—always sparks compelling narratives.
