Dragon Shifter Book の小説・ストーリー

The shifters here don't have the ability to escape to another realm if things go bad. As far as I know, dragons are the only shifters capable of jumping realms without suffering a consequence. From time to time we take human children across if their parents give them over to save their lives. These children are critically ill. Once they cross, they're free from their illness, but they lose their ability to speak. These children are raised by adults who once crossed over as children. They remain in the dragon realm and serve our needs. I have no idea how many of these servants I have. They quietly go about their day and mostly stay out of my way. I give little thought to who prepares my meals

The compulsion tugging me forward was otherworldly. Violent noises woke the forest, draconic hissing and the whimpering of a wolf in distress. A subtle white glow made silhouettes out of dark trees and bodies moving around each other. I opened my mouth and breathed in the metallic scent of blood, and worse: Jesper’s bitter notes of fear. Leaping out of the bushes and into the glade, I finally saw what was happening inside Dalesbloom: three dragons were harassing a unicorn, a mythical shifter I’d never seen before, and the runt had gotten in the middle of it. Even for the first time seeing her as a wolf, I knew it was her by the magnetism of our intended bond, a feeling so powerful it made me

“Goddess, why can’t men fuck like this in real life?” I peeked down at the cover and recognized the book as one of the Reverse Harem’s I’d given her. This particular one was about a coven of dragon shifters—as if that wasn’t the most fantastical thing I’d ever heard of. “You haven’t been with anyone like that?” “Oh, heaven’s no.” She scoffed, fanning herself with a manicured hand. “The most I’ve ever gotten from the men around here was some dirty talk and a smack or two on the ass. This—this feral, unhinged sex is exactly what I need.”

From what I hear, they seem to value it very highly. When he finally stops, I also stop at a particularly thick book called Werewolves, Spires, and Shifters: Complete Edition. On the front is a picture of a menacing werewolf ready to devour a human and a human fighting a truly horrible Shifter with a strange spear. I pull it off the rest, hiding it behind me.

Kaelin asks, straight to the point; his eyes trying to break into my soul. I couldn’t lie now, they would know straight away, I had never really needed to lie whilst I was in hiding so I didn’t know what to expect should I try. It wasn’t a good idea. Besides, the dragon kings have the right to sentence me to death should they choose, it’s just a shame for them that I wouldn’t stay dead, it’s better to come clean and take things one step at a time. I had the power to control fire to an extent, so I could always fight if needed. Though, I didn’t know what use I’d be against four dragons shifters. They were much more powerful that I was, much more skilled and adapt to the fight. I had never fou

she sobbed. The Burn had tormented dragons for over two decades. Many dragons have lost their families to the terrible blight. No one knew how it started, or how to cure it. We just knew it killed. The Burn gets triggered when a Dragon tries to take their shifted forms. All Dragon Shifters can breathe fire in their shifted forms, which makes us immune to fire. But The Burn turns a Dragon fire against them, making them burn from the inside out. The only way to avoid succumbing to the plague is to not shift, essentially denying us the right to be ourselves. It's easier for adult dragons to fight the urge to shift, but it's way harder for dragons in transition.

Storm added the last part, biting her lips when she saw Kaden widen his eyes just as she mentioned the word shifter. “I don’t know what had taken the book, but I am sure that the angel wasn’t part of it. Also, I have been feeling watched. I don’t know how, but I know. Then there are the dreams.” “What dreams?” Kaden asked, trying to get past the foreboding that was floating around him. This spelt trouble everywhere. Not only was his mate chased by hunters, she was also the target of some supernatural. He was wondering if the darkness in the book was the darkness that the woman who had met Jiraq on his journey had mentioned was dead, or if it was just plain darkness.

The Alpha wolf shifted back and his mouth hung open as he stared in shock at the large dragon rapidly approaching. “Oh fuck!” the Alpha said but was unable to move. He watched in horror as the dragon sucked in a breath and then set his men ablaze. Their painful screams weren't enough to snap the Alpha out of his daze. He felt glued to the ground, unable to move a muscle. He felt his men die and then watched as the dragon shifted. The very large, and very angry dragon shifter stormed toward him, not stopping until his hand was wrapped around his throat and his feet were dangling in the air.

"Members of The Diamond Pack, we have gathered here tonight to petition the Moon Goddess to admit six new members into our pack as wolf-shifters. Josiah Franklin, Melody Stone, Case Steele, Dominic Greene, Journey Garza, and Adalyn Vaughn, please come forward." Six humans of all ages stepped forward, each taking their places in front of one of the giant stones. "Do you wish to become a member of The Diamond Pack?" Daphne asked. "I do," they responded in unison. "Is it your desire to become a wolf-shifter with all the benefits afforded it?" she asked. "I do," they responded in unison. "Will you protect your brothers and sisters of the pack, even at the cost of your own life, should it be aske

The air smelled clean, the lights warm, the shelves tall and perfect. “Choose the book that pulls you,” the woman said. “It will tell you what you need.” She vanished into the shadows. I walked along the shelves. My hand stopped on one book, not because I liked it, but because something in me reacted. A strange pull. The title was old, written in faded ink:” The Nature of the Cursed: shifters of the Moon.” My fingers trembled as I opened it. Inside were sketches, human shadows twisted into wolves, claws emerging from the hands, glowing eyes in the darkness. I swallowed hard.
