It was her occasion after all. We picked out two dresses, one for the party and the other for the photoshoot and then we moved on to shoes. After we’d picked out her dresses, we wandered into the children’s shoe section of Little Royals. The walls were lined with pastel shelves shaped like clouds, each one displaying rows of tiny shoes. Some glittering ballet flats and others miniature boots, satin slippers, and sneakers with blinking lights. Hayley’s eyes widened as she took it all in. She pointed at a pair of gold sandals with butterfly wings stitched onto the back.

“To hold your hair back when I’m fucking you bent over my table later today. Let your hair down, but pin it out of the way. Come to me soon, my baby.” My core clenches and my cheeks redden at Mason’s dirty words. How can he manage to make innocent hair pins look so incredibly dirty? Next is a box of shoes. I pull it open to reveal the most intricately designed navy blue pumps. Woven flowers dotted with blinking diamonds decorate the back of each shoe, just above the heels. Something tells me those are real diamonds. Another note, “See those heels?” I pause to look at the straight, pointy heels. Walking in them might hurt a little bit.

I don’t think she owns an article of clothing that does not sport a paint stain of some sort, others deliberately ‘decorated’ with colourful hand prints. “I think I actually like them even better this way,” Cole says, moving his feet and turning his shoes. “They look as if they were meant to have those blue decorations, right Jo?” He gives me a look that makes me aware he has caught the drift of what I’m trying to do.

“Stay here, I will be right back.” Without waiting for her response, I rushed off to the nearest shoe store. It didn’t take long for me to find something that would allow her to walk and run freely, without hurting her feet. I ended up choosing a pair of white flats, with a silver logo design on the side. Even if she already turned her back from Rosie, she knows that the girl was fuming. She won this round. She walked out from the hall like a winner. She was finally at the parking lot. She was almost limping because her shoes were killing her. As soon as she was inside her car,she removed her shoes again and threw it at the back. She heaved a sigh of relief as she steps into her comfy sandals.

Though the unnecessary show-off did make her a bit uncomfortable she has to admit that the shoes in this shop were of the finest quality with the most recent designs placed on the top racks shining brightly under the lights that were hanging on the ceiling. However, as soon as her gaze fell on the prizes that ranged from thousand to ten thousand written on a small board encased in the glass case, Levy immediately wanted to turn around and leave the shop. Were they selling footwear worn by the Gods? How can a pair of shoes cost more than ten thousand dollars? The cheapest pair was a thousand dollars and she was sure that it will not go along with the dress that she has brought.

Lexi snapped. “We’re wolves, we heel fast. Your feet will be fine my morning.” “Or I can just do flats, and not have to worry about it at all.” “But….” “Hey small fry, hand me those silver shoes.” I passed them too her, not looking up from the gemstone box, and the shoes. I was slowly picking out different colored stones. My dress was all black, and muted silver. I wanted to add some color some where. When I was satisfied, I started arranging the stones on the shoes in different designs. At first I tried doing a rainbow, but didn’t like that, or the heart I made either. After a few attempts at different shapes I became frustrated. I looked over all I had, and the shoes again then got an idea

I asked eyeing the book. "It's my shoe collections. Drawing and designs I made myself" she opened the book to reveal the first page. There was a drawing of a thick black high boot that look very realistic as if it was a picture. The design however was unique, I don't think I've ever seen a boot like this before. She opened more pages to reveal other pictures of beautiful shoes ranging from boots of different kind and colors, slippers, cover shoes, heels, sandals, sneakers and many more. "Wow, did you draw all these?" I asked impressed at her talent.

“It’s a shoe.” “Congratulations,” I muttered, wiggling my hand in a silent demand that he return the sketch. “You recognize basic objects. I’m so impressed. Now give it back.” But he kept staring, tilting his head from one side to the other. “Open toe, chunky heel platform with buckles,” he murmured. “Interesting.” Pointing out one part, he said, “You went with an ankle strap instead of t-strap.”

Her thighs pressed together involuntarily as a knowing smile played on her lips. Taking a deep breath to steady herself, she turned her attention to the shoe shelves. Each pair was a masterpiece, displayed like priceless gems. She carefully scanned them, looking for the perfect match. Then, she found them—a pair of crimson stilettos, the exact shade of her dress, with delicate gold accents along the straps. They were elegant, sophisticated, and undeniably sexy. She stepped into them, feeling the way they added a boost of confidence to her already mesmerizing look.
