The Villainess Wants To Live

The Villainess Wants To Live

"You're so fickle. Choose one, whether I may touch you or not, my fair lady." His colored lips pulled slightly, almost boyishly. My reason flew away with the wind at his actions. I could care less whether he's a psychopath villain or the reincarnation of Lucifer himself. My confidence rose and I slapped his hand before kicking him in the shin mercilessly. In this world, women's shoes were mostly made of hard material and wrapped in silk to bind the shape. Animal bones and metals were sometimes used in the front of the shoes. The point is that it was incredibly hard.

HEAVEN & HELL

HEAVEN & HELL

Yet as she spotted Nick chatting away on his mobile at the front of the shop, she forced herself to do as he had told her. Millie drifted over to an unusual shoe display. These had high thin needle-like heels in a rainbow of colours, some with spikes adorning the front. They looked dangerous; which she supposed had been the designer’s intention. She didn’t think they were her type of thing, and she would prefer something more elegnt and with a heel which would tempt her to use as a murder weapon. She knew the twins had shoes like these and it would be a lie to say she had not thought of sticking the heel in Ruby’s eye.

Saved by the Alpha

"Let's start with basics," Lena squealed rushing to a floor to ceiling window lined with shoes, boots and sandels. "Oh my Goddess," Serena squeaked holding her hands to her chest. "Casper only ever brought me sneakers and big army style boots. What are those?" She pointed to a pair of shiny black shoes with red soles and a spike protruding from the heel. "Those, darling, are Laboutin." "They're beautiful." "Luna Lucy used to have some," I said frowning at the shoes. They never looked comfortable when Luna wore them and they didn't look comfortable now.

This book is terrific but I think there may be something wrong with the author. I would hope that it would not just be abandoned when then the author has so much talent. Has anyone checked to make sure everything is ok with author instead of posting negative comments!!!

Unfortunately I don’t think the book is worth the money considering that it’s not completed and it takes months for an update literally. And you only get one or two chapters. Is there a way to get money back?? At this point I have no interest in finishing the story And want a refund

His Rejected Luna Remembers Nothing

His Rejected Luna Remembers Nothing

Then kept going. A hair ribbon. A small white shoe with a buckle gone green. One shoe. The left one. I turned it over in my hands and put it down and kept going. A hand drawn growth chart with dates running over two years and then stopping. Three more drawings. And then a photograph I had not seen before. Me at three years old, sitting in someone’s lap, laughing at something above the camera with the complete unguarded laughter of a small person who has not yet learned there are other kinds.

When We Are Older

When We Are Older

Laughing, I push his knuckles with both my palms, feigning surprise with a gasp when he steals my right shoe. Wriggling my toes in the air, I dramatically cover my mouth with the palm of my hand. "You did not just steal my favorite shoe!" "You have a favorite shoe, really?" Adam asks, shaking his head at my poor acting skills. He holds my shoe between his digits, out of reach from my hands. "Yeah, there are flowers drawn on the shoe you're holding," I tell him. "I drew them myself," "Oh," Adam studies the shoe then, and I giggle at his serious expression.

The Boy who Circled Time

The Boy who Circled Time

The first draw that Emmet opened contained a single hairbrush, come medicinal creams for rashes and burns and the like, and a card of black hair pins, a collection of ribbons, and bobbles - all entirely innocent. The next draw was empty, apart from the approximately ten sets of socks, all black, and only two of them extra warm for the winter, and another two pair of shoes, just placed here. No slippers though. One of the shoes were black boots that would go upto about Lila's mid calf, while the other shoes looked like they would be worn by school pupils as part of their uniforms. Emmet did not blink at them, finding them to be within the confines of Lila's admittedly childish tastes, and clo

THE COLD-HEARTED CEO'S REBORN LOVER

THE COLD-HEARTED CEO'S REBORN LOVER

On the large screen behind the presenter, a sleek, modern shoe was displayed in sharp detail rotating slowly as if inviting careful examination. The presenter stood near the center of the room, one hand resting lightly on the edge of the glass table while the other gestured toward the image behind him. “Good morning, everyone,” he began, his voice calm, professional, and confident. “Today, I am pleased to present our latest footwear design.” The shoe on the screen gleamed under simulated studio lighting, clean stitching, refined curves, and a polished finish that spoke of both comfort and elegance. “This model is built with durability and style in mind,” the presenter continued. “The outer l

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

There, hidden behind a curtain of weeping carbon-fiber vines, was a small, dilapidated shack. "What is this?" I asked. "The only place the grid can't see," Xander said. He pulled back the vines, and I saw a wall covered in jagged, hand-drawn charcoal sketches. I gasped. The sketches weren't of buildings or machines. They were of us. There was a drawing of a man and a woman standing in a mountain of gold; a drawing of a girl with a wooden ring; a drawing of a man with orange eyes holding a woman in the rain.
