Paperwork and Hearthbeats

Paperwork and Hearthbeats

“What are you thinking for the stormy aesthetic?” Harper asked curiously, holding up the deep winter swatches which include the colours: midnight, olive, expresso, silver, grey, charcoal, mocha, wine, brick red, ruby, Boysen berry, fuschia, magenta, mustard, honey, Ocea, dark green, forest, jungle, royal purple, mulberry, purple, royal blue, Aegean, and ceru lean. Knox snatched the swatches from her hand, spreading them across the desk like he was dealing a winning hand in a high-stakes game. His parrot green eyes darted over then, his lips moving silently as he processed each colour. “Stormy aesthetic,” he repeated, tasting the words. "Aye, it's got tae feel heavy. Atmospheric. No' just dar

The Blind Alpha

The Blind Alpha

***CALISTA'S POV**** A FEW DAYS LATER Meghan dyed the tawny, golden hair of my pups to black. It was kinda, a long procedure, and it took us days to forage for the raw materials for the corrective procedure. When we finally found them all, Meghan began the hair-darkening procedure. She used henna, indigo, and black walnut hulls to darken their hair. She made the dyes into a paste and applied it to their hair, which was then wrapped in a cloth and left to sit for several hours. Meghan said, the longer the dye was left on the hair, the darker the color would be. So, we had no choice but to wait, biding our time in the deep woods, while we perfected Kieran's and Melinda's camouflage.

--- She points to the teenager. "Then put some red on the ends, it will look beautiful."--- I give her a little wink. Madu is the typical teenager in her rebellious hair color phase. She is even being discreet with just the purple ends, in my time I did so much shit with my hair people. "Really? I was in doubt about which color to put in my hair" --- Hold on to your dyed locks. "Degrade is also beautiful, but I don't recommend it because it damages your hair too much. Take advantage that you are doing it only on the ends and change the color a lot, then stop it and just cut it. I advise it," she said, as we sat down.

The Valiant Trilogy

The Valiant Trilogy

Megan Matthewsi fell for my boss
I instantly love her, and if that makes me a judgmental person, so be it. "Hello, Mackenzie. I'm Diana, the designer. The gender situation is why I've prepared mockups in different color tones. Gender neutral of green or gray are popular right now, but if I may humbly suggest I would recommend you go with the gray. That would be the easiest color scheme to add touches of blue or pink to one once you confirm the baby's gender."

The Alpha's Chosen Mate

The Alpha's Chosen Mate

I'm being childish, and shake my head with determination as I watch her walk down the path and disappear into the safe forest, heading towards the main pack grounds. I take a warm shower to ease my tense body, letting the water wash over me and soothe me. Drying my hair, I study the bleached ends and see the colours fading. The fuchsia and lavender tips were something I experimented with when I finished school a while ago, and I liked the prettiness so much I kept it by using permanent colour. Some called it silly or quirky, but I didn't care. I loved bright and pastel colours. My bedroom walls were painted blush pink, my clothes were all sorts of pale and soft hues, and the fresh flowers th

The Alpha's Ruby Obsession

The Alpha's Ruby Obsession

Without voicing my confirmation, my fingers move to unbuckle his belt, caressing his outlined erection at every chance I get as I lower the zipper to expose the navy blue of his boxers. His erection springs free with such force that it slaps me; so much for 'little'. My lips part, ready to take him in, but his fingers find my hair. "No!" I slap his hold. The dye I use is temporary; every time I transform, the colour reverts, so I stopped using a permanent dye. I know it will not rub off on him; it is not the cheap kind, but I don’t want to have to worry about something like that. He scoffs.

I love the work of Undercover Ostrich. She has a dark understanding of human nature that comes out in her characters. She puts a lot of thought, vulnerability, and passion in her stories. I look forward to her updates everyday! I love the bonus story. I wish it was another book so I can read more.

This book literally held me from starting to end it’s very well written, and the character growth is very there and real. If you have a thing for bad boys and a little obsessions for villains, then this is the book for you as a mom, I always turn to books to alleviate some of my stress, this was it.

“I mean, we can do whatever you want! I’ve got some other stuff in my room if you want me to pull it out.” Under the sweatshirt, I unclipped the crossbody bag I had and pulled it out. Sam snorted and Kevin rolled his eyes. Unzipping it, I pulled out a couple of things to add to the collection on the table. Reaching out to grab what I put down, her eyes widened. “This is blue hair dye!” “Yeah, I have blue and purple. I’ve been wanting to dye my hair these colors for forever. I just never got around to it. I’ve been told that I have really good hair to color but with school and my father…” I shrugged. “Why not go for it now?”

10 out of 10! This book had me hooked from start to finish and has me wanting more! Not saying that you have to but this would make a great series, a book for each main character, I'd read them all! Glad to hear you're feeling better, keep taking care of yourself and writing these awesome stories! ...

So far, so good. I like the author's writing style and ability to have both strong and weak female & male characters. There are some grammar and spelling errors, but minor and easy to overlook. Better communication regarding updates would be appreciated, but this platform is not for career money.

Day of Dread

Day of Dread

First it was hide and seek, then it was never have i ever, which got them drunk enough to start playing truth or dare. "Kyle!" Steve yelled. Kyle was half through a sip of energy drink and vodka. "Truth." He said after. Steve wrinkled his nose. "Nevermind. who wants a dare?" He asked and Becca's hand shot up. She wasn't nearly as wasted as the others because she really hasn't done anything too exciting. While they took shots for skateboard tricks they've done and relationships they've been in, Becca sat quietly. This was Becca's game. She loved dares and her friends were pretty good at giving them. She would usually go through with every dare, and had a pretty hot streak going.

FOUR SHADES OF DREY

FOUR SHADES OF DREY

The stylist, a young guy named Marcus, looks at my hair like it's a project he's excited to tackle. "So we're thinking a change but nothing too dramatic," Marcus says, running his fingers through my hair. "Something that frames your face better. Brings out your features. Maybe some layers? Some dimension with the color?" "Whatever you think," I say weakly. He grins. "Trust me. You're going to love it." Drey sits in the waiting area with his phone while Marcus works. I watch him in the mirror. He looks tense today. Different. Like something is bothering him but he won't say what.
