DREAMING OF MR. STARR
“I'm not that good, but I do enjoy it, and I think I could make a career for myself in advertising.”
“I'm sure Declan didn't…”
Angie laughed.
“Oh yes, he did. My brother is nothing if not honest.”
She threw open the door to her studio. There were numerous sketches and paintings on the walls, all very good likenesses of her family. There was a half-finished portrait on the easel next to the window, but it was already clearly recognizable as Brendan Starr.
Gemma turned to look at the younger girl.
“Angie, this is very good.”
“Thank you, although it isn't very easy to get Daddy to sit still. He may be retired, but he's still very active. I have some sketches of Deck if you'd like to see them?”
