Wayne's desperate search for his wife had been all over the news, so when he mistook a stranger for Arden, everyone thought he had finally lost his mind. Even his closest friend, Dorian James, wondered if Wayne had gone mad. After all, the woman standing before them was the Henley family's heiress, and she didn't look like Arden at all. Sensing Vincent's rising temper, Dorian quickly tugged on Wayne's sleeve and whispered, "Wayne, you really are mistaken. She's the Henley heiress."

But I was glad that it was just a dream. And then I heard it, the footsteps. Low, heavy, and steady coming towards my door. "Miss Dankworth, Jane?" His male voice which I couldn't mistake for anyone else. James Carville. I would prefer it if he just stopped calling me Mias Dankworth and just stick to Jane. I could tell from his voice that he didn't sleep a wink, softer than I'd ever heard it. Then the door opened, just enough for light from the hall to spill in. He was still in his black shirt, sleeves rolled to his forearms, his eyes scanning the room before finding me, and stopping.

Tears well up in my eyes. "Martha what is wrong, are you okay?" She touched my shoulder and I flinched again. She touched me, I felt it. Why does this feel so real? Was it real? Had I been dreaming all this while. Oh my God! "Mom?" "Yes sweetie, talk to me, what's wrong?" "Are you really real?" My mom and dad exchanged looks. "Ofcourse I am real" she caressed my cheek. It did feel real. "Whatever dream you had, it really got you whipped" Liam commented. Typically Liam will make jokes at serious moments.

Saving him from his confusion, I explained things better. “ What century is this? I'm thinking it's a different century, that would explain why it didn't exist or this might be a different world entirely. Or my favorite explanation to this, I'm dreaming.” Yes, I still firmly believe that it's a dream. “ Dreams last longer than a month? That's new” He teased me and I glare at him to shut up. “ So, what century....?” I asked again, remembering that he hadn't answered me. “ I don't know.”

The world was replaced with one that I had created, or had paid an engineer to create at least. I was in my meadow, like the ones that I had seen in the movies of old. The grass swayed from side to side with a wind that was so real I could almost feel it. There were times that I could even trick myself into feeling it, and with the boost on my side tonight I was sure I could probably do just that. There was a river that ran about a hundred yards from me, and beyond that was the darkness of space, but filled with an infinite amount stars. It wasn't night time, but just over the horizon my dream world ended and the emptiness of space began.
