My Forbidden Mate
As I gasped for air and blinked through the haze, I turned to see who had rescued me, it was George.
But he seemed different, almost unrecognizable, his expression distant and shadowy. The fear washed over me, and I gasped awake, beads of sweat trickling down my forehead, my heart racing uncontrollably.
Beside me, George slept peacefully. I hardly remember my dreams, but this one was strikingly vivid, its emotions still lingering as if it were reality.
I knew it was no ordinary dream, yet I didn’t know how to interpret it. I chose to push the unsettling thoughts aside, though a small part of me couldn’t shake the feeling that it might hold a deeper meaning.
