I want my life back. So as I sit here, everything still seems eerily quiet as I look out into the trees. There is only the sound of a few bugs buzzing. There are beautiful skies up above and a slight drizzle of rain. I sit here with my eyes closed and lifted to the skies. His touch was firm, careful, like he thought I’d break. I didn’t miss the way his hand lingered for a second too long. “I’m fine,” I whispered. But the lie tasted bitter. He didn’t argue, just watched me closely. His eyes darted to something behind me. “Just… don’t look in the mirror yet, okay?” That made me pause. “Why?” Raven shifted uncomfortably. “Because you’re… different.” My heartbeat stumbled. “Different how?” Neither of them answered. Mason’s jaw tightened, his silence louder than words.

The girl was sitting on the bed with one hand rubbing her left eye. "Raven?" Lavina noticed Raveen’s precence. She had a sharp nose. Raveen's scent was wafting across the air. I think with this new information, my brain will be too distracted to dream. I'm still going over everything in my head when I walk up to my room later. I head straight to the bathroom so I can jump in the shower and end this day. Looking back, if I had been paying any sort of attention then i would have heard the shower running which would have told me not ot go into the bathroom, but here I am. Standing in the bathroom completely frozen by a naked Raven. She seems to be just as in her head as I was so I just kind of stand there staring at her without being noticed.
