Lydia est une fille très brillante dont les parents avaient au moins le nécessaire pour subvenir à leurs besoins. Depuis la classe de Seconde elle s'était mise en relation amoureuse avec Johny, un jeune garçon étincelant aimé par tous ses professeurs au collège. Johny était vraiment amoureux de Lydia et cette dernière aussi l'aimait de tout son coeur. Ils s'entraidaient dans tous les exercices jusqu'à ce qu'ils obtiennent leur Baccalauréat. La situation des parents de Johnny était pire que celle des parents de Lydia. Le père de Johnny était un mécanicien et sa mère une revendeuse.
