He said and kissed her gently on the lips. Drew and I exchanged a knowing glance, and laughed quietly. After packing, Drew pulled out his phone and dialed a number. "Hey, Jacques? It's Drew. Can you have the jet ready to take us back home tomorrow morning? We'll be ready to depart by 6:00 am." He listened for a moment, then nodded. "Great, thanks. See you tomorrow." He said and hung up. Nessa and Nicholas started getting cozy on the couch, holding hands and gazing into each other's eyes. Few seconds later and they were kissing passionately with Nicholas hands roaming Nessa’s body.

They’re still together. She tried to text him… “Hello, Drew. How are you? Do you want to drink?” She sent the text. Drew responded, “I want of course. But I don’t have money to spend for it, I still have no work.” Jette felt that Drew is just making excuses so she stopped answering his text messages. She just went home and focused all his time writing and preparing for her classes every MWF. ***

“No problem.” Jax folds his bulky forearms across his chest. “Why don’t you get lost, then.” Drew doesn’t respond- he just turns tail and retreats, scampering out of the locker room. I watch after him until the door is swinging closed, then turn to face Jax. Damn, he looks good up close… I could lose myself in those blue-grey eyes of his. “You alright?” he asks, and I’m not gonna lie, the superhero act is a total turn-on for me.

Drake stopped at the door, his hands on his hips as he looked around. Jake moved to extend his hand to him. “Hey, buddy. Thanks for coming.” He turned and pointed to Kari. “This is my girlfriend, Kari. Her friends Sicily and Lisa.” Lisa smiled and waved flirtatiously, forever a redhead. Sicily stared a bit longer than she might have realized. Jake moved Drake over to the pile of supplies and picked up a brush. “We’re just doing the base coat now. Pick a place to get rolling and let’s go. We’ll try and do two coats before we break for the day.”

Drake Lockman threatened. Jake rubbed his head. It was beginning to hurt. This is crazy. It was just to much for him to take in. "Can't you just be a man a talk it out with Jeremy." "Isn't it evident? We are way passed that level now." Drake said said evil smirk. Jake didn't want to be part of any of these plans. Nothing good ever comes from being the middle man. He needed to meet with Sexianna and see were he fits in all this. And then finally decide on what to do.

Air hockey is too easy." I blushed at Jax's retort. We weren't dating yet. We decided to play as teams: Team Jax and Scarlett and Team Zharie. I can't with their name combination. "We won! We beat you two!" Sophie declared, pointing at Jax and me. My mouth hung open in betrayal at the air hockey table.

Like he had already made a decision and hated himself for it. Lisa slowly closed her laptop. “What happened?” Jake didn’t answer immediately. He looked at her for a second too long. Then leaned back in his chair. Like he was preparing for impact. When he finally spoke, his voice was calm. “Marry me.”

I wondered why he never dated. “Dude, you remember how Jake used to be. He is totally smitten now.” I glanced at Dan laughing at Jake. “You just need to meet the right person and everything will fall into place,” Jake said, looking at me lovingly and I blushed. “Whipped.” Dan coughed earning a glare from Jake and everyone laughed. After hanging out for a while, they all left and I started cleaning up. “What was that?” Jake asked as I was cleaning. “What?”

"Yes, where are you going anyways? I thought I'd come ask if you wanted to go to Jax's bar for a bit." Drew sighs and shakes his head. "Can't. I have a date tonight." I wiggle my brows and spread my arms out on the back of the couch. "Well, well. Finally, going to get some pussy tonight huh? It's been a couple of weeks, I was starting to worry about you," I joke, chuckling. "It's not like that. Cassandra is one of those really cool chicks that you don't want to spend just one night with," Drew's raving sends my chuckling to an abrupt halt.

“Cadence, Drew is gone. You must go now!” She stared at the stranger, not sure what to make of him, the situation, or what he had just said. Suddenly, the sound of branches breaking and heavy breathing drew her attention away from those intense blue eyes and back to reality. She braced herself, afraid that it might be more vampires, but it was not. Jack and Kash came tearing through the trees, clearly out of breath and exhausted from attempting to keep up with Cadence. “Cadence!” Jack exclaimed. He looked relieved at first until he saw Drew lying on the ground. Then, his expression changed from joy to overwhelming grief. Kash was standing nearby, his eyes locked on Drew, stunned.
