Jan poked the tip of her nose. Kate chuckled. “Of course, I wouldn’t do that. I know you’ll get mad if I did.” “Good.” “I already chose your car. And now, we’re going on a test drive.” “This way, Ma’am, Sir,” said the woman who seemed to be the car dealer. She ushered them to a red Audi R8. “Jan!” Kate exclaimed out of surprise. “This is too much. I’m fine with—” “No, Katherine. Nothing is too much when it comes to my wife.” He planted a kiss on the side of her head and handed her the key.

"Did you talk to her? Did that liar say something to you? Do not listen to Rita. She is just trying to manipulate you." I whispered, "Do not say her name." Kate pulled her hand back. "What?" I looked at her. Said, "Get out of my car." Kate said, "Victor it is pouring rain. You cannot leave me out here." I turned my head slowly. Looked her in the eyes. "Get out of my car Kate. If you do not open that door and step out onto the sidewalk in the three seconds I will drag you out by your hair." Kate gasped loudly. She saw the murder in my eyes. She knew I was not joking. She scrambled out of the car. Into the rain.

Kate remained in the co-driver seat sweating like someone poured a bucket of water on her. "Please, meet Mr Harper, the man who managed A&M Constructions in my absence," Aiden introduced. "Nice to meet you, Mr Harper," the people said one after the other shaking hands with Mr Harper. "Oh, and that is his assistant. Ms Kate, please come out of the car," Aiden said and Kate slowly got out of the car forcing a smile on her face. "Nice to me you all but I ..I," Kate tried to find an excuse to leave the place but nothing came to mind as she was caught in a moment.

"Sorry. Mom keeping a close eye on me was nerve wrecking. I felt like she could read my mind." Kate laughed. "Don't be so paranoid, Jamie. Just relax as I give you a taste of rebellion that doesn't involve your usual dose of nicotine, 'kay?" I chuckled and leaned back into the leather. "Whatever." ~ Kate pulled into the driveway of a huge house. A lot of cars were parked around and it was a good thing that there were no nearby neighbors because the music was deafening. I took off my jumper and ruffled up my hair again. Leaving my bag in the back, I got out of the car as Kate did the same and locked it.

Carefully, he took her hand into his own. And Stella nearly lost her mind watching it happen. The two of them walked toward the front door together afterward while Stella followed behind like an emotionally invested chaperone. Outside, Kevin guided Katelyn toward his car carefully like she was something precious. Then before she could even reach the passenger side— The man literally hurried around the car to open the door for her himself. Stella stared in delight. “Oh he was raised correctly,” she muttered emotionally. Katelyn laughed softly while shaking her head before gracefully sliding into the passenger seat.

She was worried about Catherine. "Kathy, can you drive? How about let me drive?" Catherine said calmly, "No!" She refused Audrey while instructing her to buckle up. "Snap!" After the sound of the seatbelt locking sounded, Catherine pressed the accelerator pedal to the bottom. The original forty-minute drive was completed by Catherine in fifteen minutes. Audrey could only use one word to describe this journey, and that was thrilling! After the car stopped, Catherine opened the door and got out. Audrey really wanted to keep up, but she was now weak in the knees.

He agreed, “I will d******d it and get it to you as soon as the guys are done loading the stools for you. I will send one of them back out with it.” I went to the car with Kate. When I got in the driver’s seat, she shut the door and stood guard there until the guys walked out with my barstools. Celeste showed them to the SUV and let them put them in. Meanwhile, Kate reached into the car and locked the doors.

KATHERINE Katherine could not seem to get herself, to stop thinking about the information she had gotten about Damien and Madison. She had gone mad with rage, and with nothing else to do, she had decided to go out driving. She was still having the nasty headache but she didn't care. That would not stop her from doing what she wanted to. She had climbed into the car, driving away from the hotel and zooming off at high speed and with the rate at which she was driving around, she knew she could get in trouble with the cops but she didn't care.
