Dune Books Length Novels & Stories

I hope you are too, and would be ever so humbled if you let me know what you thought of my little part two. Being able to explore my characters through their own points of view was an eye opening experience, and I hoped you loved tuning into Dalton, Kendra, and Jake's thoughts just as much as the lead's, Hollis and Whitney's. Despite this book taking five months to write, a month less than two of my other novels, "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" is by far my longest book, nearing 600 pages. I couldn't avoid it since there was so much I wanted to cover, and there are no regrets.

The hours passed in the quiet music of bees and the dry whisper of wind in the orchard. At noon Elian appeared. Not the usual mid-morning descent. Later, which meant the first session had been longer than usual, which confirmed what the early start had already suggested: the third novel had him fully. “Tell me,” Dante said. Elian sat on the low stone wall that edged the herb bed. He held his coffee — Dante had brought a fresh cup without being asked, as he always did when the morning stretched long. “Three thousand words,” he said. “Good ones?” Dante asked, though he already sensed the answer.

She had always been too close to the current section, too focused on what was being built to see the whole. Now she looked at the whole. Thirty sections. Three and a half years. From the first rough notes she had made in the second month after Caela's birth to the spiral of section thirty. She said: "It is longer than I expected." Maren said: "Yes." She said: "And shorter." Maren said: "Yes." She said: "Shorter than what it contains." Maren said: "The sections point toward things that cannot be written." She said: "Yes."

Ivonne's pov The first thirty minutes inside the Aldenmere were, if I was being completely honest with myself, deeply boring and anticlimactic. The forest was dense and stubborn and required actual physical work to get through , with branches low enough to force us into a crouch, undergrowth so thick in places that we had to use our knives to clear a path, roots breaking through the ground at unpredictable angles that caught our feet if we weren't watching carefully. "Anyway, let's find The Yearling." Jane had to make herself follow Lucy. Her feet felt heavy with guilt. There it was. The book looked long, all right, longer than A Tale of Two Cities. It was definitely a thicker book, but maybe it was just printed on thicker paper. Jane made herself flip to the last page to check the page number: 400. Twenty-two pages shorter than A Tale of Two Cities. Jane grinned like a fool. Caroline had read a shorter book than her.

Because I have a very good feeling that what Rory has just signed on my cast may as well be my death sentence! END OF PART I. My book will be divided into several parts... to show the end of one part of the characters lives and the beginning of another.
