Ian and Samuel walked after they heard my voice through the link, with this they took her to the dungeon while she thrashed against them. “Let me go!” she screamed, slamming her hands against the back of the man that carried her. Stupid girl, she thinks she is strong than my man? The dungeon was a dark place where we torture rugged rogues or assassin sent to spy on us. We have many enemies. The smell smelt of dead skin, wolfsbane and it had never been washed there it had a very irritating smell. I had to wear the nose mask to bear the smell of the place. Ian carried her and tired her to the roof where she screamed and thrashed in pain.

______ Alex POV The dungeon reeked of rot. My body ached from lying on the stone floor, my stomach clenched with hunger, and my throat was so parched that swallowing felt like sandpaper. The chains around my wrists had left raw marks on my skin, but I kept silent. Wasting energy on complaints wasn’t an option—I needed to survive, even in this hellhole. The guards’ boots echoed down the hallway. My head tilted back against the wall, but I didn’t move otherwise. I wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of seeing me flinch.

I managed to turn on my stomach, I crawled to the wall of the dungeon. And I was hit with the smell of piss and blood. I laid back on the wall, and soon my eyes gave out. I try to talk but zeth pulls me away amidst my pleas and screams. After walking for a while, we finally get to the dungeon and Zeth pushes me inside without batting an eyelid. He didn’t even like me from the get go and I am sure he is happy to do this. My mind drifts off to the ice dungeon back at aqua blade and my heart breaks into a thousand pieces. Same place but for different reasons. Why must I always be in this kind of a situation? I slowly lower myself on the ground as tears well up in my eyes. I am not crying because I loved Derrick but because I am in this situation again.

Once it was positioned properly, I reached forward and clicked play. Narrowing my gaze, I watched as a warrior named Damien made his way through the packhouse towards the servants' wing. When he arrived, he met with a maid I recognized as Alissa. "Is there sound?" I asked, watching the two examine the area before making their way towards the end of the wing and through a door that led to the dungeon. "I’m curious to hear what they’re discussing in a space where they don’t belong."

The sight of his two hands made me breathe a sigh of relief. Now that I was relaxed, I teased him on purpose, "Two hands don't bring as much pleasure as multiple tentacles, it seems." Cyrus paused in his actions. Then, he raised his head to look at me, his gaze already dark with lust. "Is that so?" His gaze made my heart skip a beat. Derrick's Pov The cold stone of the dungeon floor bit into my skin, but it was nothing compared to the sharp ache in my chest. I felt like someone had plunged a spear right through my broken heart. Last night, every few minutes, a sound drifted down from the upper chambers, a high melodic scream that echoed through the vents. It was Jinx. My mate. My world. And she was screaming Calhoun’s name. There was nothing I could do but ball my fist in rage wishing I had the power to burn Calhoun's Castle to the ground.
