Lydia est une fille très brillante dont les parents avaient au moins le nécessaire pour subvenir à leurs besoins. Depuis la classe de Seconde elle s'était mise en relation amoureuse avec Johny, un jeune garçon étincelant aimé par tous ses professeurs au collège. Tout était comme sur des roulettes. Johny faisait des cours de maison pour satisfaire ses besoins et évite de trop tendre la main à Lydia grâce à ce petit Job. Il réussit à payer la suite de la somme de l'école choisie malgré que Lydia avait promis de l'aider. Lydia s'était inscrite en Sciences Juridique et Johny en comptabilité et gestion.
