Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. To make it easier to understand and more transparent, this chapter will be like a summary for this and the following volumes. Vol.2: medium stories: The antics of Bia's crew ( ABC) Bia comments on a crew of children of criminals, in an invisible ship. In this world full of magic, demonic beasts and restrictions, they live on the run, abandoned by their parents. Not being accepted anywhere in the world they have to survive on small illegal jobs and from time to time to plunder.

Zahra whispered, not minding to hide the fear in her voice, “But why had they set fifteen huts ablaze?” “I can’t say for sure,” Dodo turned her attention to Zahra, “But my mother told me a story of how the three Kingdoms, after hunting, danced around a campfire. You want to hear the story?” “No,” Zahra and Ginika said in unison. They were not prepared to hear Dodo’s unending tale. She would only end up telling them of how her great, great, great grandmother, told her great, great grandmother and her great grandmother, to her… Her stories usually leave one hungry and light-headed, or it would knock you out.

The crowd laughed as they shoved me back into the liquor again. The suffocation, the alcohol, and the seizure crashing together dragged my consciousness down rapidly. Some stories started with hate. This one ended with everything.

____________________ Tanya’s POV Dying happens very slowly and then all at once. At first, everything hurts, cold and tight and dark around me as my lungs scream for air. Then, I lose sight of which way is up and which way is down, and the pain quiets. It becomes a distant whisper as I feel myself fading, like falling asleep. The strength seeps out of me, and my eyes slip shut, my limbs becoming loose. For a moment, I swear I can feel my heartbeat slowing, softer and softer with each beat.

The old man closed the notebook. "I watched every story." "I watched every ending." "And eventually..." "...I realized something." He stood. The oak leaves drifted slowly around them. "The greatest danger was never evil." "It was certainty." Adrian frowned. "I don't understand." The old man began walking through the empty white world. "When people believe they know the absolute truth..." "...they stop listening." "They stop imagining." "They stop changing." He stopped beside Adrian. "And that's how stories die." The words struck Adrian harder than any battle he had fought.
