Easy To Read Fantasy Books Novels & Stories

I had so much time on my hands I could read every one of these books. I found three that sounded interesting then went to the cafe for a watermelon lemon water, I never heard of a drink like that before. I found a nice big chair on the outside patio and opened my first book. It immediately pulled me into the story. It was an action adventure that followed the life of a strong Beta devoted to his pack. He had to marry a fairy to bring more protection to his people. This book said fairies had magic that seeped out of their pores, making any submit to their wishes. It was a fictional tale so I wasn't sure if anything was true, but it was an exciting adventure.

She nods enthusiastically, then yawns. "Jennifer, you must not miss your sleep in your eagerness to read. You have all the time in the world. Come, I will show you the other books in the series." He leads her to the shelf labelled 'Fantasy' then reaches down for another volume. "What did you especially like about the story?" "Oh, everything! The children going to Narnia and the battles and Edmund being bad but then being sorry and being good. But I liked Lucy best. She's not pretty but she's so brave."

I watched a group of girls around my age walking and laughing and conversing as they took pictures together. Then I saw a group of moms sitting on the bench. They didn’t look like besties but they were all casually conversing, so as my two darted to the slides and swings. I just found an empty bench by the wood line and took my seat. Pulling a book from my purse. “His Hidden Ice Queen.” I hope no one ever finds out I read werewolf fantasy books. But dang it they are addicting. Esmeralda being swept away from her terrors by the sexy Alpha male, Giovanni. I mean, what woman wouldn’t want that. But even I know, those are just what the genre is. Fantasy.

The more I read the first pages, the more I forgot everything around me, zoning out and delving into the book. It had a twist, since the book was a fantasy romance, and talked about werewolves. But to be honest, I loved it since it was one of my favorite genres to read. I came back, looked around, and smiled seeing Nate, Kenzie, and myself had started reading the book. We were so engorged that we had completely forgotten where we were. Sophie smiled with pride, and winked at me, making me blush. It was without a doubt we were fellow bookworms to the core. I smiled, going back to reading, snuggling into Nate's arm as he begins to soothe my arm again.

Both the pre-ruin and the post-ruin, I wasn't ready for any of it. My movements came to a halt when my gaze flitted across the street and landed on the poster of the new Fantasy series I had been waiting on; All the Beautiful Things. It was a trilogy. All the beautiful things are red, All the beautiful things are gold, and All the beautiful things are black. It was more like Romantasy actually. A wide grin crept up my face and I looked sideways, before slipping towards the bookstore even though I knew there was no car in sight. Volxe bookstore.

“Is that a challenge, baby?” Amara looked over her shoulder, her eyes meeting his as she tilted her head. “Do you take it as one?” Rhys walked behind her, his chest touching her back as he raised his hand and ran his fingers over the several books on the shelf above. Eyes sharp and amused. Amara was almost pressed between him and the book rack, heart in her mouth and legs clenching. She knew he was doing it on purpose. “You like fantasy, more like magic and knights.” He pulled out one book, a thick book with a light brown cover with images of a knight and a woman. He tilted his head. “Never grasped what’s so good about this one though.”

Thumbing through the titles displayed, I discovered classics, bestsellers, and rare editions. I picked a fantasy book from the bestsellers - "A Court of Thorns and Roses" by Sarah J. Maas. I settled into the big couch, my feet tucked under me. An hour passed, and I was completely absorbed in the world of Prythian. Feyre's strength and determination had me hooked. "There you are," a voice startled me. I looked up to find Ethan standing in the doorway. He smiled mischievously. "I looked all over for you," he said.

Books are oxygen for the literate. For me, there's no other way to breathe. Breathing comes naturally to living organisms. For a nerd with a perfect attendance record and zero friends, air fills my lungs, and words fill my head. I like filling my head with facts, opinions, and fanfiction. There's nothing better than reading Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings fanfics on a Friday night.

"Daddy, it was my tenth birthday, and I knew how to read, perfectly fine." I don't say that I was already reading Aunty Seedy's Harlequin books. They all had similar titles: Burning desire. Fury. Loving a highlander. I can't believe I enjoyed those kind of novels once. They all had the same story line, different settings, different characters, same guy gets the girl at the end of the book ending. Absolutely cliché. Dad says, "I remember all those times you'd come to me with all those big words."

I couldn’t stop myself. “I’m thinking about getting more into reading,” I said, leaning against the counter, scrambling for things to say just to have more of her attention. “What would you recommend?” She quirked a brow suspiciously. “Not sure. What type of books do you like?” “I don’t know. Let’s start with your favorite books and go from there.” She drew invisible circles on the countertop with her finger. “There’s a fantasy serious I really love.” “Fantasy sounds cool,” I said, hoping to keep her talking.
