Echos of Ruin

Echos of Ruin

And even now, as I stand in the quiet aftermath once again — another husband gone, another chapter ended — I remind myself of one thing: I’ve lost everything before. And I still found a way to rise. And so, before the storm — before heartbreak, loss, and the long road that would shape the rest of my life — there was light. There was laughter echoing down dirt roads, Sunday dinners that stretched late into the night, and the kind of childhood that wrapped around you like a warm blanket. Before the pain, there was peace. Before the scars, there was innocence. This is where my story truly begins.

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Bloodbound: The legacy of Serelai

Ash’s frantic voice came from far away: “Liora! Come back! We’re losing the real world!” She pressed her palm to the mirror and shouted back, “I’m coming, but I have to find the choice!” Behind the mirrors, a shape moved: the echo watching her with eyes full of sorrow. “Your choice will change everything,” the echo said softly. “And not all endings are happy.” Liora turned sharply. “Why are you helping us?” The echo’s smile was gentle. “Because even in the shadows, there is hope.” Suddenly, all the mirrors shattered into pieces that flew like stars. Pain shot through Liora’s chest as a cold wave washed over her.

Daddies Underground MC Club

Daddies Underground MC Club

I watch him disappear behind the door, then turn to find Red and Vesper settling babies in the corner. “Morning,” Red says, smiling. “Hi. Rough night?” “It’s like the babies have a group chat,” Vesper laughs. “One cries, they all cry.” I nod at Red and Vesper and turn just in time to see Echo stride out of the back hallway, eyes glued to his phone like the thing owes him money. He’s so focused he doesn’t even notice me creeping up behind him, ready to pounce. He stops at the bar. “Glass of water and a glass of ice,” he orders Pearl, voice rough and distracted.

ECHOES OF LONGING

ECHOES OF LONGING

Chapter 1: Fractured Homecoming Elias Kane stepped through the front door just after midnight, duffel bag thudding softly against the frame. The house felt too still. “Mara?” he called quietly but no answer. He moved into the kitchen, flipping on the light. His eyes landed on the steel watch sitting on the counter. A man's watch that's clearly not his own. “What the hell…” A car door slammed outside. Elias flinched hard, back hitting the wall as memories surged—explosions, shouting, dust choking his lungs. “Not now,” he muttered through clenched teeth. “Breathe, damn it.”

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Nobody spoke. Because nobody knew what to say. Then the duplicate smiled sadly. Then: "The city collected me." Pause. Then: "As it collects all echoes." Then suddenly— another voice echoed through the street. Then another. Then another. The group turned. And froze. More figures were appearing. Dozens. Hundreds. Emerging from the shadows. Different people. Different versions. Different possibilities. A version of Ava. A version of Rowan. A version of Cassian. Countless echoes. Countless lives that never happened.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Echoes of His Heart

Echoes of His Heart

When I woke up again, I found myself lying in an unfamiliar room. The lights were off. Only the cold moonlight streaming through the window illuminated the blurry figure sitting beside the bed. It was Silas. He sat on the carpet with his back against the bedframe, looking strangely lonely. [Why isn't she awake yet? The doctor said it was only emotional stress combined with low blood sugar, so why has she been unconscious this long? This is all my fault. I never should've let her meet Eve.]

HELENA

HELENA

counting the days that’s been wasted because they lock me up. I’m about to fall asleep when I heard the doorknob turning and the door slowly opening. I get up to see who is opening the door. “How are you, Helena?” The man asked. I can’t see his face but his voice sounds familiar. He walked close to me and my heartbeat fast like I was alive again. My eyes opened wide and my jaw dropped when I saw Echo. There’s a euphoric feeling that I felt and I feel like I want to shout because he is here now.

Echoes Of Redemption

Echoes Of Redemption

Deciding to set the pizza down on the table first, I picked up the remote and handed it to him. As Jonathan reached towards the remote, he unexpectedly leaned in closer. Startled, I instinctively leaned backward, causing our eyes to meet. At that moment, I couldn't help but notice the sparkle in his mesmerizing blue eyes. His gaze gradually shifted towards my lips, leaving me breathless with curiosity. Just as I felt myself getting lost in the intensity of his gaze, a loud crash erupted from the kitchen, breaking the spell between us. We both turned in alarm, our hearts pounding, wondering what had just happened.

Echoes of Forever: Love Stories Across Time

A Fleeting Moment Chapter 8: A Fleeting Moment (continued) As the clock struck midnight, Ella was overcome by a wave of apprehension. She remembered the fairytale she had once heard, where a magical moment came to an abrupt end. Fearful of losing the connection she had found with Alexander, she gently broke away from the dance and hastily retreated from the ballroom. In her haste, Ella left behind a single glass slipper, a memento of the extraordinary night she had experienced. She hoped that fate would guide Alexander back to her, allowing their story to continue beyond the confines of the enchanting masquerade.
