I shake my head—Eddy is very superficial.
“So, instead you tell her about this opportunity?” I ask, looking at him. “You never did say why you sent her here? But this girl has goals, so it has to be out of desperation.
Eddy sighs, sitting down in a chair in the corner of the room, “I ran into her today at the grocery store where she works,” he pauses, “She needs the money…. Bad.”
“How bad? And for what? College?” I ask and he shakes his head.
