Sold to my baby daddy and his friends

Sold to my baby daddy and his friends

When it does, I see the men redressing their bottom halves. Karma is a bitch. I could run out of here and make a point of not saying goodbye. But I need to get my money first. “That was…” “A one-time thing,” I say, finishing Carter’s sentence. Even though I could quite happily repeat what we just did for the rest of my life.

Strip, Miss Hot Bodyguard!

Strip, Miss Hot Bodyguard!

“Everything’s a game when you have enough money. So… Do we have a deal? Rhea walks free, I stay, and you get my Supreme collection plus bragging rights. Limited time offer. Act now.” I was stalling as hard as I could. Every second counted. This lady better be bringing an army. Because if she doesn't show up soon… I was running out of stupid ideas.

Love Money, Not Men

Love Money, Not Men

Densely packed financial statements, bank transfers, asset transfers, and shipping lane and dock transfer documents rolled past one by one. The entire crowd watched in dead silence, not daring to blink. Martin was completely dumbfounded, his mouth hanging wide open in shock. Because beneath all of those documents, in the most prominent position possible, was my name on every single line. I looked at Martin's reaction with satisfaction and snapped my fingers. The screen shifted once again. In the report, a single line of text was exceptionally glaring. [Martin's current assets: 0 dollars [Current total debt exceeds one billion dollars.]

Money Can't Buy Back a Dead Heart

Money Can't Buy Back a Dead Heart

Getting money from Cara was as difficult as ever. "What kind of emergency requires a one-time payment of 200 thousand dollars? Ada, you're not making excuses to ask for money, are you? 200 thousand dollars is no small amount. Please attach a detailed list of expenses, and I'll approve it then. For now, it's rejected." I explained to her that it was an advance payment and that the itemized bill wouldn't be available until Mom was discharged from the hospital. Cara smirked, feigning sudden understanding. "Oh, I see. Everyone in my family is quite healthy, so I really had no idea at all. But purchase requests are very strict, and bending the rules like this won't do.

It's All or Nothing

It's All or Nothing

"You finally saw Rachel for who she really is, you apologized, and now I'm supposed to forgive you?" He blanched. "N-No, that's not what I meant! I just—please, give me a chance to make it right. I swear I won't ever speak to Rachel again. Just give me one more chance, okay?" I leaned in close, but my voice was laced with mockery. "Make it right? You really think you're some prize, don't you? "Joel, have some self-respect. With your pathetic salary, you can't even afford one of my handbags. I used to like you. I was willing to marry you out of charity. But not anymore."

Queen of the West

Queen of the West

He handed them to me with a nod before stepping aside. I unzipped the bags slowly, revealing the stacks of cash inside. The collective gaze of the group narrowed, eyes fixating on the money. "Everyone in this room gets one of these bags," I said, zipping them back up and tossing them to the ground with loud thuds. "But here's the catch: you walk out of here with that bag, you're out. Forever. No second chances. You take the money and disappear, and I'll let you go without hunting you down. But if you stay, you stay loyal. No more excuses. No more slip-ups. Make your choice now."

The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist

The Hockey Alpha’s Therapist

For someone with unlimited wealth, 10,000 dollars might be a small amount for him, or perhaps it meant nothing if he had to pay a therapist to work for just a few hours. But I suddenly remembered an anonymous comment under one of Grayson’s team’s game videos saying that Grayson had a superstition before the game. Argh, I’m confused. What should I do? I want to refuse, but I really need that money. This opportunity might not come twice. “Quinn? I don’t have much time to wait for your answer.” “Yes… I can,” I finally replied after debating it in my mind. “I’ll send the address via message.” The call ended before I could say anything else.

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

"Why?" "You sure you want this one?" "It's the only one still available." "Yeah, I mean, do you really want it, like, right now?" I tapped a foot on the pavement. "What's wrong?" "It's 1,199 bucks." "I saw the price. Come on, just get it now before the window closes." He scratched the back of his neck, head down. "Thing is... I'm broke. I've already spent my pay. I don't have the money."

As up to now the book would be 3 Stars. It is declining severely. Dragging with baby stories that don’t add up to the story just for adding characters and taking our money. Definitely stopping. Huge dissapointnent. Good until chapter 380

This author is one of the best writers I have ever read! I love her discripted writings. She has captured the scenes' and characters' feelings with flair and accuracy. I hope to read other books by this author.
