Opening one eye, I looked at Eddy, whose tan, deep almond skin and dark brown hair alone nearly killed the pale vampire stereotype, as he looked like he was from a Wolf Pack rather than a Vmpire Colony. “Edwin. Do you not care for me as much as the now-former Lady-Luna?” I asked cheekily, trying to get a response. Eddy snarled at me when I used his full name, but I could still see some brown in his eyes, so I knew he wasn't completely angry with me. That gave me some solice as Eddy as of recently became my sole friend inside the Colony. “We are about 30 minutes out from the hospital. Do you want to have this conversation, Luis?” Eddy asked.
