“What breeds did your father have?” “Scottish Holsteins mostly,” Sophia said as she thought about it. “They are smaller and have weird fur on their backs but they are much hardier producers for their size and lower cost to feed.” “We have angus at the ranch. Can you ride?” Micha asked. “A cow or a horse?” Sophia asked with a laugh. “Either,” Micha said laughing as he looked down to the tiny woman and saw her smile. “Both,” Sophia replied. “I can ride pretty well.”

"That night, seeing your work, I could tell immediately you would have the vision for what I want to create." "And that is?" she prompted. "Some time ago I purchased a large ranch about three hours south of San Antonio. The ranch is thriving, the pastures are very fertile. But the buildings..."He shook his head. "Serious victims of neglect. Even the buildings that house the hands. I've made temporary repairs and upgrades so everything is at least livable but what is there does not suit my needs." "And you think I'm the person who can produce the designs you want?" He nodded. "Without a doubt." He looked around at the framed sketches on her office wall. "Everything I see here only convinces m

Focus, Trina Ryder, and don't let this charade get so much into your head that you end up mixing it up with reality! As we finally turned onto a long, driveway, I realized that we have arrived at our destination due to the signboard that read ‘Welcome To McAllister Ranch’. And through a break in the tall trees, I caught my first glimpse of the McAllister ranch. It was more of a mansion than a ranch house. The building is a sprawling, two-story structure made of limestone and dark wood, with a red tile roof that now gleamed in the afternoon sun. There were also manicured lawns that stretched out in all directions, with many colorful flower beds. According to Randolph, all this was Zane's hand

the same guy said. I nodded my head while looking them over. I could tell by how they held themselves and walked that they didn't know much about ranch work or life. I was desperate at the moment. I could teach them just about anything if they were willing to learn. "Alright, perfect. The ranch is just down Highway 20. You'll see the entrance that says Wolfe Ranch on the right-hand side." "Alright, we will come by shortly," he told me. The other one just nodded at me while staring intently. They opened the door and I walked past them and to my truck. Was I crazy for bringing them on as ranch hands? I would have to teach them everything, but it was better than nothing at all.

The transfers are very important to my family. There was this lot in the hill of L county that belongs to my family and will be handed down to any member of our family who is willing to build a ranch house. I will show it to you, we are going to pass the hill anyway, it's on the roadside. My sisters are interested, so I have to put that on our agenda for today. Ari, see that plateau? That will be the location of the ranch house. Nice! Great location Sav! I liked it.

He held out the papers he had in his hand and said “I figured you’d want to go the house route. But I didn’t think you’d want her in a gated community with other people free to come and go as well. So, I isolated all the homes near any of you that have secure gated entrances. “That is the listings.” Justin sat in one of the empty chairs and listened as the men talked. Every once in while putting in his two cents about security measures. They settled on a property Justin himself would have chosen. It was, outside of the Houston city limits in another city but close enough for a commute. It was a ranch it had a 10,000 square foot barn, and multiple little homes on the property for ranch hands

It wasn’t incredibly warm, not like Los Angeles, but it was nice and comfortable. Jaxon drove further up into a canyon and down a dirt path until we made it to a little ranch house. The house would comfortably fit us all and looked both stylish and cozy. There was a big barn and a stable next to the house, and I could see cows and horses grazing in the grass. When Jaxon parked, he got out and held out his arms as if to make sure I caught the stunning view. "What do you think?" he asked, clearly proud of himself. "There’s a lake just a few minutes down the road and a nice local store. Lots of peace and quiet. We have enough staff on hand to take care of the animals, so we can just relax and e

His beard gave him a rough edge, which according to Mia is hot. The Ranch is not as bad as Matteo making it look. It is huge with the main house sitting on the right corner along with half a dozen small cabins surrounding it, which are meant for the live-in employees of the ranch. Joe's ranch is run by an elderly couple, Joe and his wife Jane. Joe's ranch houses about fifty horses and an equal number of cows. The ranch also has some hens, goats and a few pigs. As Joe is becoming older, he couldn't work as much as he used to, so he hired some extra help.

That's when I knew how badly I was in trouble. As I drove down the long, winding driveway leading up to the Loup ranch, I couldn’t help but be struck by the sheer size of the beauty on the property. The driveway formed a loop that surrounded a large, meticulously manicured lawn, dotted with tall trees and colorful flowerbeds. The lawn was bordered on one side by a white, split-rail fence, and on the other side by a series of stables.

Calm down, Millie! I had known of the existence of the Grange, but never been closer than the end of the long willow-lined drive up to the door. It was a Victorian L-shaped house, with farm buildings making up the other two sides. This shape makes the house look much grander than it actually is.
