Who's The Loser Heir?

Who's The Loser Heir?

She nodded to Sera, who tapped a specific sequence on the pedestal’s interface. Suddenly, the "stopped" clock didn't just restart; it transformed. The pedestal’s glass cleared, revealing that the "stopped" gears were merely a holographic projection—the "Ghost Pedestal" Elias had created. The real Medici clock was perfectly functional, its golden gears moving with a silent, mesmerizing fluidity.

A Luna for the Lycan King

A Luna for the Lycan King

“Besides, I’ve got my own personal warlord. What could possibly go wrong?” His lips pressed against my hair, laughing in a way that was mostly a growl. He shifted, and his other hand slipped a small weight into my palm. “You’ll want this”. I looked down. The pocket watch. It buzzed with a strange, low thrum, like a heartbeat pulsing through my skin. The metal was so hot, it nearly burned.

BARREN BILLIONAIRE'S EX WIFE, MOTHER OF TRIPLETS.

BARREN BILLIONAIRE'S EX WIFE, MOTHER OF TRIPLETS.

I stayed back, arms crossed, still fuming from Alex’s smug grin and Eloise’s maddening neutrality. The officer handed her the bag, and Eloise rifled through it. A wallet, some jewelry, a few odd trinkets… Then she froze. Her fingers hovered over a sleek, masculine wristwatch, its gold face glinting in the sunlight. She pulled it out, her brows furrowing. "This... is still with me?" she murmured, her tone uncertain. But the moment my eyes landed on the watch, my breath caught. I knew that watch. Every detail of it—the custom engraving on the back, the scratch on the clasp—was burned into my memory.

Unfiltered Assets

He was asleep. The "Ice King" looked defenseless. Without the suit jacket, without the sharp gaze and the calculated words, he looked younger. Tired. Maya stepped closer, her curiosity outweighing her common sense. The clock on the bench was a marvel. It looked like a brass cathedral, full of rotating spheres, tiny etched stars, and gears so small they looked like golden dust. "An orrery," she whispered, recognizing the planetary model. "A celestial longcase," a sleepy, gravelly voice corrected.

Her Honour for an Heir

Her Honour for an Heir

Another new gold pocket watch glimmers at his waist, this one inlaid with a pearl face that glinted in the low autumn sun. I was reminded of the notes I chanced to read on his desk. For all the contraptions he had delivered, the fact remained Edmund was incurable. Destined to deteriorate into madness and blindness. Yet he was collecting vast fees for every quack scheme and set of pills he claimed would work. How much would he take Edmund for? "Now halt! Stop and be careful with that! Come on now, Fitzy show them how it’s done!"

This was much different from most other stories I’ve read, but it most certainly was no less. This was a phenomenal read from beginning to end, absolutely kept me on my toes & binge reading as quickly as I could. As always, absolutely amazing job author - a must read! :)

This was my first regency book. I loved it. The old fashioned setting is described very well. As a woman it makes me feel caged and unhappy. I was scared for Vanessa and cheered her on every step of the way. She’s strong but a strong that fits in the time.

The CEO's Dangerous Line

The CEO's Dangerous Line

No witnesses. Nothing useful. Until— Estella stopped walking. Something near the corner caught her attention. A small metallic object partially hidden beneath debris. She bent down slowly and picked it up. Then froze. A military emblem. Old. Scratched. But recognizable. Lionel’s. Aizen saw her expression immediately. “What is it?” Estella slowly turned the emblem over in her palm. Her breathing became uneven again. “This belonged to Lionel.” Silence. Aizen stepped closer immediately. His eyes darkened the second he recognized it too.

FOR HER SAKE

FOR HER SAKE

The door creaked slowly. The light from Isaiah’s torch spilled into the small space. It was empty. Almost. In the middle of the container sat a single black box. Ruby brushed past me before I could stop her, crouching down to pick it up. Her hands trembled as she opened the lid. Inside lay a watch. It was Ricardo’s watch. The one with the chipped face and the leather strap she’d gifted him last year. I felt the air leave the room, or maybe it left me. Ruby’s breath hitched, and she stared at it as if touching it would burn her.

An Affair with the Billionaire

An Affair with the Billionaire

"Emerald, do you think I’ll just let you walk away that easily? I—" Before he could finish, James, frustrated because he was too young to stop Ethan, could only watch as Ethan’s fist flew toward Emerald. But the punch never landed. A hand caught Ethan’s wrist mid-air. The cuff of a black suit revealed a silver Richard Mille watch—glinting in the light of the setting sun, a symbol of the owner's power. Only a select few in the country could afford such a watch, and even fewer had the audacity to carry its weight.

When the Fool Heals the Mafia

When the Fool Heals the Mafia

a cocktail of history, ego, and silent wars. Edgar Page sat alone in one of the high-backed chairs, one leg crossed elegantly over the other, the amber liquid in his tumbler catching the light like a smoldering flame. In front of him, placed deliberately on the inlaid mahogany table, rested an antique timepiece…polished until it gleamed, ticking steadily beneath the low hum of tension that filled the room. Julian’s clock. Victor’s dead son. His old friend’s favorite relic. A piece of history, ticking with the weight of memories and meaning.

Wrecked by my enemy

Wrecked by my enemy

The object didn't hit the concrete; it landed squarely on top of Rafe’s closed laptop with a dull, hollow *clink* that made the plastic casing rattle against the sawhorses. It was Elias’s silver pocket watch—the one his mother had left on the nightstand in the Greenwich house the morning she took the train to the Stamford registrar. The crystal was gone, the white enamel dial cracked across the center between the four and the five, but the small gold second hand was still moving, jumping forward with a tiny, dry *tick... tick... tick* that seemed to take every remaining second out of the basement room. "The London syndicate just called the house, Elias," Victor’s voice came down through the
