I whispered, looking around slowly, taking it in for the first time since I returned, really seeing it, the way the energy moved, the way everything responded. Understanding settled in. “These are my powers.” Dalton’s gaze snapped back to me. “What?” I swallowed slightly, but this time, there was no hesitation in my voice. “I have five.” The Priestess’s presence sharpened slightly, her attention fully on me now. “Earth,” I began slowly, feeling each word as I said it, like I was confirming it to myself as much as to them. “Aqua Elementum… water. Healing. Fire.” I paused briefly, my fingers curling slightly as I felt the last one. “And freezing.”

“About me.” He turned to face me fully now. “Do you know why I can control all the elements?” I hesitated. “Because you’re… special?” A faint smile flickered across his lips. “That’s what everyone says.” He shook his head slowly. “It’s true. But it’s not the whole truth.” He leaned back against the tree trunk. “In every generation,” he explained, “there’s one elemental born with absolute authority over the spectrum. Fire, water, air, earth—everything in between. We call them the Primarch Elemental.”

The Air magical power is a power of fast and invisible its qualities are projective and temporary. The Fire magical power is a power of Destruction and Active its qualities are fast, hot and projective. And the last magical power element is Water. The power of magical Water is the power of Erosive or Erosion. Its qualities are cold, peaceful and receptive. These are the magical powers of the elements that I need to learn.
