The dragon one.”

“Then why help me?” “Because I used to be like you. Smart. Curious. In love with someone powerful enough to lie to me without blinking.” Elena pulled a folded envelope from her coat pocket. “Inside are names. Not all enemies. But not all friends. You’ll need both.” Ava stared at it. “Be careful,” Elena said, standing up. “You’re not Lila. But if you keep digging, they’ll treat you like you are.” And just like that, she walked away.
