Seven grabbed Maya’s arm, hauling her toward a rusted cage elevator at the far end of the walkway. They scrambled into the lift, Thorne nearly falling as the floor beneath them groaned. Seven slammed the lever down, and the elevator jerked into a screaming descent, diving deeper into the heart of the mountain. As they fell, Maya looked up through the iron mesh.
