Bounty Hunter: The Space Bender

Bounty Hunter: The Space Bender

Jace thanked the receptionist and the two of them walked to the elevator. "Since, when you got interested to baby fats?" Kaizer asked Jace as he pushed the bright button in the elevator that would lead them to the third floor. The elevator was powered with water magic, maybe because to thrift electricity. It lifted upward when the opposite tube was emptied with water and plummeted downward when the water lifting the elevator puked back to the opposite tube. The water changed color for each time and it somehow added to the liveliness of the hotel. Watching the smooth tornado-like sipping of the water, Jace answered.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

Andrew James urged from slightly behind her as space inside the elevator cleared, with the purring arrogance of his exceptionally wealthy upbringing and the seductive warmth of an elitist Ivy League education, the audio version of a lingering kiss that made Evelyn flush again with embarrassment that her legs felt trembly. Inside the elevator, the younger Mr. James counted obsessively, tapping one foot as restlessly as a caged jungle cat as the lift rose from floor to floor, pausing to let some passengers exit and a few new ones board. With a sly glance, Evelyn noted he paid no more attention to anyone around him than he appeared to in the lobby. To distract herself from his uncomfortable pre

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

Reborn:The mafia king wife

Reborn:The mafia king wife

The B2 button lit up. The doors closed. The descent began. The silence inside that elevator felt unnatural. Elena stood rigidly beside Adrian, one hand hidden in the pocket of the lab coat around the knife at her thigh. The fluorescent light above them buzzed softly. The steel walls reflected pale, distorted versions of their faces back at them. On the outside, Elena Hart looked composed. Beautiful. Cold. Untouchable. On the inside, she was balancing over a pit. Every second the elevator dropped deeper underground, more of the pit opened beneath her.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

The elevator shot straight down toward the basement level. Inside, Hayley jabbed every button she could. The elevator ignored them all, as if something had priority. It just kept descending, carrying everyone inside rapidly toward the lower floor. Her mind was racing. Staring at the elevator like she had just seen a ghost, Hayley ran through every possible explanation in her head. First off, it definitely couldn't be a ghost. Even if the world had gone to hell and zombies roamed everywhere, there was no way ghosts were suddenly a thing.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The office lights flickered again. A new corridor appeared between cubicles. At the end of it stood an elevator. Above the elevator doors, words glowed. SOURCE ARCHIVE. Haley clutched her stomach. "Why is there always an elevator?" Jack stepped toward it. The Hollowsmith grabbed his arm. "Do not trust direct routes." "Can we take an indirect elevator?" Haley raised a hand. "I vote stairs." A sign appeared beside them. STAIRS TEMPORARILY DISABLED FOR SAFETY.

Everyday For The Thief: A Chaotic and Poetic Mafia Romance

Everyday For The Thief: A Chaotic and Poetic Mafia Romance

It wasn’t just a big house; it was a modern wonder, a tower of glass and steel reaching high above the city, right near the crazy lights of Times Square. This was a private kingdom, a personal piece of heaven in a very public spot. You got in by a secret, super strong elevator that took them straight to the top floor. It was the kind of place that screamed, “We’re rich, we’re strong, and good luck getting past our many guards.” As the elevator doors opened, Svetlana, looking bright in a colorful flowered dress, let out a loud squeal. “Clauddd! You came! Oh my goodness, you really made it?! And ouuu you came with a plus one!” Svetlana bounced up and down, full of energy.

Flash Marriage: Babies with My Unknown Husband

Flash Marriage: Babies with My Unknown Husband

Elizabeth asked in confusion when Holand remained standing outside. “The elevator is reserved for VIPs. It will take you directly to the floor exclusive to the Channings.” Before she could ask what he meant, the elevator doors closed. Her anxiety doubled as she stood there alone. What if her husband was furious at her for having children with another man? Her mind spiraled into worst-case scenarios. The elevator stopped at the fifty-eighth floor. There were five or six closed doors along the quiet, brightly lit hallway. Chairman Channing’s name was elegantly engraved on a marble plaque beside one of the doorbells.

My Stubborn Heart-Stealing Ex

She anxiously waited in front of the elevator, repeatedly pressing the down button several times, hoping the elevator would arrive quickly. Evelyn's mind was consumed by worry for Helena. When the elevator arrived, she hastily entered, not paying much attention to the person already inside. As the elevator descended, more and more people crowded inside, and Evelyn felt disoriented. She momentarily forgot to step back and make space for the newcomers. Consequently, she was roughly squeezed by the crowd. Her unsteady steps almost caused her to stumble, but a strong hand suddenly appeared at her waist, steadying her. In her line of sight was a man in a crisp light gray suit, showcasing his exce
