Elfen Lied Novels & Stories

“Then, do you know what would have happened to you if what you said were true?” “I would have become a fallen elf.” “Then, can you tell me what a fallen elf is? I assume you do not know, otherwise you would not have said such a lie.” “I am sorry Mother Lelyah.” “I see. I overestimated your ability to study by yourself.” She looked directly into my eyes. “A fallen elf is one who have lost Mother Jörð’s blessing. In other words, you lose your divine mana. Without it, you are nothing more than a mere beast, you cannot use any magic and you cannot cross the village’s barrier.”

Reyan spoke. They all looked at him to listen. “The people call this the ‘power of faith’.” Reyan said. “Some also call this the ‘power of love’. There were some groups of humans who worship elves, and they treat them as a god.” He told them.

- Elka, some wolf would like you, you would become his headache. “You won’t wait,” she commented cheerfully on what she heard. - So that Selena would play a joke on you and choose a mortal as a couple. - Well, shut up! Don't give the idea to the goddess, - Mitya let out a plaintive groan and turned on the blender. - Well! Gingerbread Man, Gingerbread Man, drive to the kitchen! echoed loudly through the living room as the sound of the blender died down. - I'm coming, you're definitely not fattening me for slaughter? Lily sighed heavily, sadly remembering normal food.

I became freeze and couldn't move an inch. As I was scared so I closed my eyes tightly. But didn't felt anything. Then I slowly opened my eyes and saw that his face was very close to mine and was looking at me. Then he brought his lips near my ears and chanted something which I couldn't understand. But slowly my head began to feel dizzy. My eyelids became heavy and I fought to keep them open, but I couldn't. But before I fell into a deep slumber, I felt as if someone picked me up and then everything became dark.

Her silver hair flowed like a waterfall, and her eyes – an iridescent shade of violet – held centuries of wisdom. "Travelers of Meranthia," she began, her voice as melodious as her harp-playing. "What brings you to the Forest of Echoes?" Liora stepped forward, her natural curiosity taking the lead. "We're on a quest to gather the shards of the Eclipse Stone. Your lullaby drew us here." The figure smiled gently. "Ah, the Lullaby of Lorien. I play it to keep the spirits of this forest at peace. I am Elara, the Guardian of Melodies."

Venus slowly repeated, trying to grasp her mind around what she was seeing and hearing. The kingdom of Everglade was north to the kingdom of Salazar. It was also the home of the Elf race. While they worshipped nearly the same gods as here, the elves were also known to worship their own made gods. They were also known for their perfect if not near craftsman ship, pale blonde hair, and swift movements during fighting and dancing.

I’ve been so damn selfish, so wrong. Stunned faces stare at me, but the elf rolls up his sleeves and acts unphased. “Even after all that, I could take you,” he says, grinning and showing off his jagged fangs. With that, Godfrey bursts out into a fit of giggles. The sound is abhorrent and I nearly wish myself deaf. “I do love a show old friend but not now,” Godfrey finally says. The fairy waves him off. “Pen, unblock my scent so he really comes at me. Let’s see what he’s got,” the elf says, daring me.

***~ Later that night, Elen sits beside the fire, humming something that doesn’t belong to this world. "What is that?" I ask. He glances up. "A stormchant. Windborne mothers used to sing it when teaching their children to call the wind." "Sing it again." He does. And something inside me clicks. A string pulled tight since birth finally loosens. "That’s not just a lullaby. It’s a map." Elen nods. "It’s a door. You just need to learn how to open it." He teaches me the syllables. Strange, sharp vowels that taste like thunder and ash. As I speak them aloud, wind stirs around me.

i whimpered, my eyes burning with tears that refused to fall. His face darkened at the edges, reminding me that he was an elf. “You may not remember me, Elly, you may not remember our past life together but I do. I have gone through hell to find you and i will not let you go, not when you want to play matryr.” he declares firmly, pressing the handle of the sheated dagger to my palm.

But love was not strong enough to keep Death at the bay. The green mist was cold, colder than the winters of the warm-blooded beings. Elven blood was blue, infused with winter in its entirety, and hence, the elves did not feel as much cold. But Aelanor and Nimuel had long lost their status as elves. They shivered. "I wonder if we should have brought more cloaks," Nimuel said. "It probably would give my father another excuse to taunt us." "Well, that is bound to happen. At least we would have been warmer."
