Revenge of the Broken Luna

Revenge of the Broken Luna

I couldn't remember reading a book about pleasing females with cheesy words. "I mean your novel." And my eyes instantly rounded in disbelief. But Eliot's following statement cleared my doubt. "I read your novel." "You didn't." "I did. I tried to read some when you were gone." "You didn't!" I exclaimed louder than before. It was so unbelievable. Eliot read a novel? I never witnessed one. "I did, baby." I squinted my eyes, still in disbelief at his statement. "It's okay, El. Don't try too hard to please me." I said in the hope of unmasking his lie.

Being Mrs. Elliot, Came With A Price!

Being Mrs. Elliot, Came With A Price!

I should've confronted them and asserted my position, but I couldn't. I watched as they stepped off stage, my husband introducing her to the guests, my chest tightening. Without confronting them, I slowly turned to leave, my legs trembling beneath me. But as I reached for the exit door, a firm hand grasped my arm, roughly spinning me around. I turned and met Avery Gilbert's gaze. She flashed me a troubling smile, locking eyes with me. "The party's just started, where are you off to, Mrs. Elliot... Oops, my bad. I meant, Ms. Flair," she said mockingly.

In The Arms Of Mr. Billionaire

In The Arms Of Mr. Billionaire

Was Ethan the one that got away? With shaking hands, Brandon turned his phone back on, bracing himself for the flood of notifications. As he scrolled through the messages and news alerts, a pattern began to emerge. Speculation was rampant, with gossip columnists and social media pundits alike drawing connections between Eliot's death and the scandalous photos from the previous night. One headline, in particular, caught Brandon's eye: "Foul Play Suspected in Poet's Untimely Demise – No suspect has been associated with the situation yet."

The Echoes we Bury

The Echoes we Bury

she whispered. Elliot didn’t have an answer. His eyes traveled over Jonah’s body, searching for any clues. That’s when he saw it—a piece of paper tucked into Jonah’s hand. He pried it loose carefully, his hands shaking as he unfolded it. The note was short, written in the same precise handwriting as the others: “The truth is in the light, but the light won’t save you.” “What does that mean?” Emma asked, peering over his shoulder. Elliot shook his head. “I don’t know. But it’s another clue. Whoever’s doing this—they’re still toying with us.”

Choas and change

Choas and change

Just his name written in gold ink across thick ivory paper and sealed with wax a cross imprinted in the center. He hadn’t opened it. James had spent the past 48 hours pretending it wasn’t there. But it sat quietly, insistently, like it knew something he didn’t. And maybe it did. He exhaled, running a hand across his jaw. His beard was slightly overgrown, his eyes bloodshot from another night of half-sleep and overthinking. He’d spent the early hours pacing — no answers, just questions. And that name. Eliora. He had heard it in a dream the night before the letter came. A woman’s voice, soft but strong, calling out through smoke and storm. He hadn’t seen her face. Just her eyes. Golden. Pierci

My Luna, My Son, My Regret

The moment my eyes landed on the words scrawled across the page, pure, frigid ice shot through my veins. I know what you're hiding, Eloise. My blood ran cold, and I sucked in a breath as I read the last sentence. You can't hide her forever... xoxo CL

Love the story, writing was intense and keeps the storyline moving. I just would have like to have seen the family reunion. Overall amazing writing but be ready for some intense scenes that can trigger some of you. Happy reading!

Needs a little editing, but still really interesting. The author has a way of storytelling that helps you fully immerse yourself in the story. The FMC is the typical weak to strong, but the story has tons of potential. I hope the writer doesn't intend to rely on clichés/tropes.

Against The Fire

Against The Fire

“You’re the first person who’s bumped into me tonight and didn’t immediately ask for a loan.” Adrian blinked, then gave a nervous chuckle. “Ah… well. I guess I missed my shot.” The stranger smiled, and it wasn’t fake or stiff like the others. It was warm and friendly. “I’m Eli,” he said, extending his hand. Adrian shook it, firm but cautious. “Adrian Cross. I write. Or at least, I try.” “A writer,” Eli echoed, and that smile didn’t leave his face. “That’s rare around here. Everyone else just writes checks.”

Princess Cromwell and Her Six Brothers

Princess Cromwell and Her Six Brothers

Companies associated with the Hayes family made several calls to Eliot, but couldn't reach anyone. Because at that time, Eliot was still entertaining guests at a private club. The decor in the club was really elegant, with little bridges and flowing water, calligraphy and paintings as the backdrop, and there were even people performing. Even the cups we used for drinking were white porcelain, which really had that old-school scholar vibe. Couldn't see the show clearly from this private room, the owner. The dining table was super private.

The Billionaire Wants Me Badly

The Billionaire Wants Me Badly

"Having fun, aren't we?" Elliot asks as soon as he places his warm hand against my clothed waist, pulling me closer. "Not anymore." I reply to him, holding his burning gaze. His smirk only widens at my reply, looking more sinister than playful. He takes my hand, twirling me around. Unlike the first time, I manage to twirl elegantly like others this time. Though I would love to give myself the credit, I know Elliot's strong composer and expertise is partially responsible. When I'm done with the spin, he brings me so close to his body that I can smell his rich cologne. He smells like sandalwood, fresh out of the forest. His smell hits my nostrils like a pleasant surprise. I had to physically s

"Not exactly?" Elliot shrugged, carefully sealing the rest of the dust back into its small pouch. "Pixies don’t give their dust away willingly, but they do love to gamble. Let’s just say I won this in a high-stakes game of riddles." I blinked. "You beat a pixie… in a game of riddles?" He smirked, clearly pleased with himself. "Of course. I may be small, but I’m not dumb." He leaned forward slightly. "They underestimated me. Thought I’d be easy to trick. Turns out, I’m very good at playing their games."
