Persuasion

Saud Awanwalter scott
Sir Walter Elliot, of Kellynch Hall, in Somersetshire, was a man who, for his own amusement, never took up any book but the Baronetage; there he found occupation for an idle hour, and consolation in a distressed one; there his faculties were roused into admiration and respect, by contemplating the limited remnant of the earliest patents; there any unwelcome sensations, arising from domestic affairs changed naturally into pity and contempt as he turned over the almost endless creations of the last century; and there, if every other leaf were powerless, he could read his own history with an interest which never failed. This was the page at which the favourite volume always opened:

My Mate And My Revenge

My Mate And My Revenge

I could feel an intense gaze on me but i didn’t dare to look at the direction it’s coming from. I opened my book and started working, but that feeling didn’t go away, i was definitely being watched. Mr Isaac’s voice echoed in the classroom. “Winston Smith is the protagonist of which George Orwell novel?” I raised my hand. “Yes Miss Jenkins” “1984” “Very, very good Miss Jenkins, that is correct can you tell me what genre of book does Danielle Steel primarily write?” “Romance” “Excellent! What do George Eliot, George Sand and Acton Bell all have in common?”

The Stripping Heiress

The Stripping Heiress

Finish what Eloise started? Clara opened the door. “You should rest now, Ma.” I stood up. “No, Clara. I’m just getting started” The silence that followed was heavy. Then Clara added, “You remind people of her. That’s why they’re afraid.” “Was she part of the riddles?” I asked. Clara looked confused. “Riddles?” “George’s riddles. The letters. The keys. The secret doors.” Clara stepped back. “I didn’t know about that.”

Miss Goody Two Shoes

Miss Goody Two Shoes

Ellery said. “Spoken like a true rich person.” That earned her another head-turn, but Ellery's mouth wasn’t quite as sulky as usual. In fact, Cole would even have gone so far as to say her expression was amused. “How do you know this stuff?” Ellery asked. “Georgette Heyer. Obviously.” “Oh.” She couldn’t see Ellery's eyes, but her tone suggested they were rolling. “Romances.” “What’s wrong with romances? And don’t give me some line about them being trashy or patriarchal or always having the same plot

Maybe they could also focus on custom-made perfumes. “What?” Lily was confused. “Do you know who just called?” George clasped his hands and continued, "I don’t know if you’ve heard of the name of the actress who had previously won the Best Actress award, Eloise Neville. She was a superstar before getting married into the Tanner family.” Lily was surprised before admitting, “Yes, I’ve heard of her.” Not only had she heard of Eloise, Lily even knew about her relationship with Nathaniel, but…why was she calling them?

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.

One Night With My Alpha Daddy

One Night With My Alpha Daddy

Well, she isn't far from the truth. "Well, I will, in a way." This brings a satisfied smile to Ellie's face. "Then don't let me too far from you, Austin. Or you might just come running back." ______________________ Another Day The main door opens and a moment later, Ellie, who sits in the parlour reading Lovers and Gamblers by Jackie Collins, sees the butler come in carrying a pile of letters in both hands. She drops the book, paperback up, and goes to meet him.

My contracted wife

My contracted wife

“You’re not the only one who knows how to play the long game, George. And you should remember—I never agreed to be a piece. I agreed to be your wife.” “For the sake of a contract,” he said, still holding onto the last thread of authority. “Then you should’ve married someone spineless,” she replied, climbing the stairs with poise that couldn’t be touched. --- Later That Night – George’s Study He didn’t go upstairs. Instead, George paced the length of his study, jacket discarded, sleeves rolled up, the half-drunk glass of whiskey on the desk growing warmer by the minute. The headlines flooded his phone, relentless: > “Mrs. Knights’ Silent Entrance Makes the Loudest Statement.”

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

Madam Winters’s Fight For Her Children

He leaned back on the couch and coldly said, “I plan to entrust half of the properties of Winters Corporation to you after some time, but you don’t even know the password of the safe deposit box. George, you really disappoint me.” George’s expression stiffened. Dad was never this harsh to him before. Was he really that useless? He said, “Dad, you really never told me the password for this safe deposit box…” “Can’t you guess it?” Earl sneered. “From my mobile phone password, computer password, home door password, and intelligent product password… can’t you infer the password of this safe deposit box from all the clues?” “But isn’t this password set by you, Dad? Why do you want me to speculate
