Miss Goody Two Shoes

Miss Goody Two Shoes

Ellery said. “Spoken like a true rich person.” That earned her another head-turn, but Ellery's mouth wasn’t quite as sulky as usual. In fact, Cole would even have gone so far as to say her expression was amused. “How do you know this stuff?” Ellery asked. “Georgette Heyer. Obviously.” “Oh.” She couldn’t see Ellery's eyes, but her tone suggested they were rolling. “Romances.” “What’s wrong with romances? And don’t give me some line about them being trashy or patriarchal or always having the same plot

Fake Marriage: The Trillionire Tycoon's Fiesty Bride

Fake Marriage: The Trillionire Tycoon's Fiesty Bride

His gaze flicked coldly over Damien, his expression disgusted. “You claim that she is your lover, right?” George went on, his voice gaining a sharper edge. “Then tell me, who is the secretary that so boldly hovering around you? Or did you think I wouldn't know what is happening back there in Miami just because I'm not there? Don't think because you're from the Cross family, I wouldn't dig into your background.” George felt his face redden with anger. How dare he keep a mistress while staking a claim on his granddaughter?! Did he truly lose his mind?!

This is a very well written book. I love the plot as well. I do wish the relationship between the female and male leads would progress more quickly though, even if I understand the reasons why it hasn’t yet. I’d still love to see more progress on that side. I just deleted a similar story bc of this.

Dear Author, we are already in chapter 275 and the story still not match the title. So when is it the main characters going to get married? Is this another book that it will drag forever? I’m just curious. I used to look forward to reading your book but I’m starting to lose interest.

When His Eyes Opened

When His Eyes Opened

Elliot could fully understand their feelings. After Mrs. Kennedy finished talking, he said calmly, "George owns a mansion worth four and a half million dollars at Third Ring. He also has a huge flat in central downtown, which is more than twenty square meters in size. Its value should not be less than the mansion's. Aside from that, George has been letting me handle his income all these years. Tonight, on the way here, I asked my financial consultant about his estate. He told me that George's fortune has doubled tenfold."

Mated to her Enemy: Refusing his Rejection

Mated to her Enemy: Refusing his Rejection

But now it felt like an anchor, dragging her down into a pit of despair. "It’s over," Eloise whispered, her voice barely audible. "The past is over." George smirked, clearly enjoying her discomfort. "Over? You think it’s over?" He pulled a cheque out of his pocket and slammed it onto the table. "$100,000," he said with a mocking smile. "All you have to do is get on your knees and slap yourself a hundred times. Each time, say, ‘I, Eloise, am a slut who can sleep with any man.’"

Wild Desire

Wild Desire

Panic welled up within her. ‘And Kate,’ Elodie, again overly made-up like some grotesque caricature of a chorus girl, smiled her fleshy, full-lipped smile, ‘you can imagine how excited Georges and I were when we heard about your new ... career.’ She laughed heartily, horribly. ‘We knew we were right, didn’t we Georges? We knew Kate was a true voluptuary.’ Georges was also smiling. ‘We knew, ma chére, that you were one to appreciate sensation. And look,’ he gestured around the room they were now entering, the plush, luxurious Mayfair drawing room, ‘where your love of sensation has taken you.’

ENTANGLED

ENTANGLED

"It's George or something else apart from sir just drop the formality you're a Woodley now" "Am fine dad, am also...." "Just answer the question, learn to answer the question don't create answers to your own questions. Okay?" "Okay" George took a long pause going through one papers. His gel drained black hair with shades of grey in it was well combed backwards, dressed in a V-neck T-shirt, a pair of eye glasses hanging loose on his nose bridge. Elsie was looking around at the pictures of an entire generation of Woodley’s hanging on the wall, the last one was Lewis. She was also playing with her fingers and holding her breathe at the same time. Her lungs were starting to ache.

168 Hours in Hell

168 Hours in Hell

She bit her lips seductively, and her nipples tightened in an instant giving me another open invitation. I breathed heavily, and as usual, my cock started to twitch wanting her closer. And I moved, unknowingly I was moving towards her to begin another passion, to possess her completely. KNOCK … KNOCK … “Dad?” It was George and immediately I turned and went to the door before he would enter and found Eloise naked in my bed. “Yes, son.” I stood at the door shielding Eloise’s view from George’s eyes. George didn’t say anything but rubbed his hands over his stomach which was an indication that he was hungry.

Come Home With Me

Come Home With Me

The private room was decorated extravagantly. It was very luxurious. "Charles, I've been keeping up with you. I'm glad that you're fine." Eliana George was wearing a sexy, haute couture gown. She sat elegantly on the sofa and slowly blew out a smoke ring. She held a cigarette between her fingers. There was a young male waiter standing behind her. He was handsome and attentive. He was massaging her shoulders. "It's nothing. Thank you for the concern, Madam."

HIS: The Mafia King's Property

HIS: The Mafia King's Property

She gasped at my revelation. Leaving them to be, I went to the bedroom, and the balcony, needing a lone place. Drowning in bottles of liquor, I was losing my freaking mind. ‘Marcroni… Silly old devil…’ His English accent filled my head. Oh, George. The bedroom door opened and closed. Silence followed. It was Elara, had to be her. If it were Sofia, she would be on my body by now. I guess she is mourning George; he was closer to her, too, and she was his thorn.

Maybe they could also focus on custom-made perfumes. “What?” Lily was confused. “Do you know who just called?” George clasped his hands and continued, "I don’t know if you’ve heard of the name of the actress who had previously won the Best Actress award, Eloise Neville. She was a superstar before getting married into the Tanner family.” Lily was surprised before admitting, “Yes, I’ve heard of her.” Not only had she heard of Eloise, Lily even knew about her relationship with Nathaniel, but…why was she calling them?

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.

Frequently Asked Questions

First thought—stick to her most distinctive titles. 'Jane Eyre' and 'Villette' come up all the time, but 'The Professor' and 'Shirley' are less frequent. If the clue mentions a governess or madwoman in the attic, it's definitely 'Jane Eyre'. For something about a teacher in Brussels or a lonely school, it's 'Villette'. Sometimes crosswords use character names like Rochester or St. John Rivers, so knowing those helps.

I got tripped up once by 'Bronte sister's first novel'—answer was 'The Professor', even though it was published after she died. So publication order isn't always the key; sometimes it's biographical trivia. A quick mental checklist: title length, any unusual letters like 'V' or 'X', and the clue's wording about her life (like 'based on her time in Brussels') usually points you right.
