She looks around the office, her tear-filled gaze moving past her husband until her eyes land squarely on Elias, who is standing frozen near the center of the rug.
“What the hell are you still doing standing there?” she asks him desperately. “Go and find my children!”
Elias’s eyes instantly flick to David, waiting for the final judgment. David stares at Elias over his wife’s shoulder, his expression a mask of pure, unadulterated menace. The gun remains on the table, a silent testament to the unfinished business between them.
“You heard my wife,” David says. “Go find them.”
