Her father's signature at the bottom, bold and unmistakable. And next to it, another signature. Rodrigo Felix. She couldn't read all the Italian, but certain words jumped out. Alliance. Protection. Compensation. And at the bottom, in a clause highlighted in yellow: "La figlia. Elena Marie Russo."

It took the strength of almost all the guards to take this man out. Becca just stared in disgust and annoyance after he had left. They retreated back into the party that was almost ending. “I need to know what all of that is about.” Elena demanded. Becca took a deep sigh. “I'm going to excuse you both, ma'am!” Blythe excused himself and left the two women to discuss. “That is unfortunately Aella's father!” Becca confirmed that all that the man was spilling was true.
