"I am Emily Hawthorne, and I seek to use the amulet to protect Silverwood Falls and its people." Eryndor's gaze bore into me, his expression inscrutable. "To wield the power of the amulet, you must prove your worth. Face your deepest fears and confront the shadows within your soul. Only then will you be deemed worthy."

It was as if she was invisible because the Griffin Guards and Vampire Warriors failed to notice her as she passed by.

Emily’s POV: It was getting dark as the sun was about to set while I walked deep into the woods. I was in search of something. I looked around the tall trees which looked scary and mysterious as if they were hiding some secrets. I walked ahead and saw some large bushes on the side which moved as a squirrel passed through them making me quiver. I took a step back gulping and then continued to walk forward while looking around for something.
