The Lycan's Obsession

The Lycan's Obsession

“This is not any ordinary altar. The symbols and engravings that you see hold a special meaning.” She said as she fondly ran her hand over those engravings as if caressing each one like her own child. Her face did that weird glow thing and I noticed that her face sometimes glimmered if she spoke too loudly or expressed too much of any emotion. “I see” I said and looked at the altar. Indeed most of that was etched to be in a foreign language, or whatever language it is that this Keltia spoke. “Here take this” She said and offered me a small pouch. I furrowed my eyebrows but she held out her palm open for me so I took it.

I am not often sucked into a story like this, but I actually care about the characters. the male lead is intriguing and mysterious. i like that the female lead, is strong. I'd love to see where you go with this. I'll be checking out your other stories while waiting and anticipating your next update

In my honest opinion, it's a good story, but I'm not done with the book yet. I'm struggling with it. The author has drug the story out and jumps ahead without clarifying things. (Like all of a sudden, the FL has magic, but for 113 chapters, there is no mention of it or her being a hybrid.)

Alpha King's Prankster Mate

Alpha King's Prankster Mate

According to the journal, if we recite the spell three times while thinking about the object or place the book will show the vision of the location. My mind drifted to the key of the fourth floor room. I last saw that key on Zander's desk when he called me in his office. I got a proper glimpse of it. But then I remember he did not want me to go there so I discouraged the idea. I turned a few pages and there was a spell written that looked like Arabic language. I learned twenty five different languages as I used to spend most of my time alone. I did not have friends. So ,I taught myself different languages. It was fun but Arabic. I know how to pronounce but did not know the meaning of the wor

\\ Did this Boy ever miss anything? Marcia snorted, "Never too late is it, with you?" she joked, "Though they may not speak the language, translation spells, and translation runes are available, and it's quite amusing, that this year's batch has a group of people, largely from English speaking areas and that have all had English as a second or third language", she noted somewhat amused. "And the names?" Zen asked. "Hale Academy magic", she answered. The teen rolled his eyes skyward, "That makes a lot of sense, and is somewhat terrifying to realize", Zen muttered amusedly.

Fated Series: Bewitched

Kaida said. "A word here and there. Not enough to translate. What about you guys?" They shook their heads. Ceara straightened. "I have a solution there, too. It might be tricky, though. I can create a spell allowing us the ability to read any written language and understand it. However, it would be temporary and I'd have to be careful in the phrasing to avoid the no-personal-gain rule." "Or what?" Tristan widened his stance, crossing his arms. "What would happen?"

She did not miss the wistfulness in his voice either. "What the spell means is for the language to be changed into Abohotto. So try to say this, 'ወደ እንግሊዝኛ ይቀይሩ' and maybe the language will change into English," he suggested. Erica gaped at him, "How?..." She knew he would probably have an answer but that did not stop her from being amazed.

I am such an idiot. I’ve had this book in my library for an entire month before I decided to give this book a try and I am full of regrets. From beginning to end, this story has been fast past but very detailed, not jeopardizing the plot. I am in love with this book and intrigued by the plot

The Pack's Emissary

The Pack's Emissary

“There are zombies here, but also casualties, and your own ambassador and priestesses are amongst the injured. Find them. Help them.” The spell slowing the Mer stopped but they stilled, their body language confused. “We understand you.” “I would hope so,” Connery stepped up to Meguitte’s side. “That is the meaning behind Verbatransfera, after all. It’s a language spell. Very clever my love.” “Help your people,” Meguitte told the Mer. “Save them, take them to safety before the zombies get them. There is a powerful sorcerer also somewhere in this smoke, and he has reason to be angry with us all.”

I have read series-more than once while waiting but have to ask--- why change the covers? The others fit although they could have made Aislen a bit prettier since everyone goes on about how beautiful and Sexy she is she didn't quite fit but all of the new covers are AWFUL! please change!!!!!

House of the Wolves

House of the Wolves

His calmly alluring voice interrupts the entire table as if a magnet to attention. “Then let us take the opposite route. Instead of absorbing forcefully, you can welcome it. Treat it with kindness.” It took me a while to register his words. Treat it… with kindness? I stare at him, no less dumbfounded as the entire table. Only Priscilla had a rather adverse reaction, snickering and scoffing. “I’m sorry?” Priscilla adds, or clarifies, “In the language of magic, that roughly translates to purification.” …Purification?

The Reaper and The Devil

"There's another type of magic that Lao is far more familiar with than me, known as martial magic. Ya can find a definition, explanation, and all that other stuff in your guide, but I'd always recommend talkin' with him if ya want to know more." "So I know "most human languages" now? What if the language changes overtime, does my translation ability get an update?" Elijah asked. "That's why I said most. It would seem that the translations are related to when someone died. Most of the gods speak a majority of languages and any that don't will have a reborn translator." Peter frowned before continuing. "It's one of the main reasons natural-born humans are considered to be...defective." Elijah

"Cassandra I told you to stay away from mischief and try not to kill someone. Most importantly why would you even even engage yourself with those despicable human affairs. James got furious and slammed the table after hearing the word 'despicable' and left the table. He has his soft spot for humans and ofcourse he has temper like us. We watched him go and started our argument again. "They were trying to harass her and I can't let that happen." I defended myself.

Call Me Alpha

Call Me Alpha

Not enough to make my knees tremble though. It's like my Wolf is saying something. Somehow telling me danger. At least, how I felt. "You know what to do." The Enchantress said. She sounds tired and bored. Like, she has been doing this thing all her life and she's just not into it. I looked at the table in front of me. I looked at the box beside the map. Inside, I saw the sacred knife laying flat. Almost waiting for me to take it. There are two wolves, hugging each other carved as the knife's handle.

Such a great story. I started this book on another app. It wasn’t finished and then disappeared off of it. I’m soooo excited to read the end. Yes the grammar could be improved a lot. BUT, it’s worth the effort to weave through the grammar issues. !!
