Ember would heat it like she always did and I loved that. Bastet jumped up on the bed as we entered the room and closed the door. He started cleaning himself right away, making that awful licking sound while purring. It made me cringe to listen to it. Ember ignored him and started to shed her clothing. I stood by and watched her out of the corner of my eye while lighting candles around the room. There was already a fire going in the fireplace of the room to keep it warm.
