Jax POV We sit in silence as time passes, and finally, Cole steps back. I glance in the mirror. There, over my heart, is a tattoo of her lips in the bright red she always wears. “Dhalia” is written above them, and “Blake” below. It’s perfect. I watch as Chase tells Cole to add Blake’s name to his tattoo as well. In Blake’s mind, we’ll all have the same tattoo when we show her tomorrow. He has no clue about this.

The poor woman has dark circles under her eyes, her cheeks hollow and her overall complexion is alarmingly pale. Most noticeable is the intricate floral tattoo that snaked down her right arm to the wrist and the one inked onto her shoulder blade: a raven with red feathers and an arrow in its beak. It feels strange seeing the design on someone else. It’s cleaner, the linework neater than it used to be, but its purpose is still the same. She’s a part of Chet’s crew. Penelope runs into the room with the first aid kit. I rip into it and get to work, cleaning up the worst of her wounds before applying bandages.

This revealed a vivid and lifelike tattoo of a black eagle with piercing eyes. Aiden glanced at the tattoo briefly before he took his medicinal bath. ... Two days later, it was the day of Eliza’s birthday banquet. Knowing that Aiden would attend, Cassie woke up early to prepare. Rhett had pulled his hair back into a ponytail, exposing the tattoo of the Triquetra on the point of his cheekbone beneath his left eye, something he had added to each of them that morning and planned to add to Aislen when they brought her back. The small tattoo had been far less painful than the one on Heath’s back of the river house, though Cameron had a different opinion. For someone who liked sex with a side of pain, he’d complained throughout the tiny tattoo.

So I walked over to them and I saw a woman’s body lying dead on the ground. “Callie.” I said leaning down next to her. I wiped her hair out of her face and I was trying to hold it together in front of my pack. But it was really hard. The warriors picked her up when something caught my attention and I told them to stop. I grabbed a hold of her arm and I looked at the exact same tattoo on her wrist. The Lycan King’s tattoo. “You bitch.” I said under my breath. Within an instant Ethan was by my side and he was looking at the tattoo as well.

Ethan has dark locks with just a hint of a natural curl while his eyes copy his mother's eyes, olive almost frosted with a deep honey color. Katie shook her head away from her thoughts of Ethan just in time for her friend to ask, "How do I look?" Katie immediately replied, "Beautiful! Whoever is lucky enough to be your mate should spend all of his days and nights thanking the Goddess for the gift she has shared with him." A slow blush crawled across Emma's face as Katie's words meant the world to her. As she embraced her friend she said, "I hope I'm right about you and Ethan. You know I always think of you as a sister. Your mate bond would make it official."

Amelia POV I wake up and I look around trying to remember where I am. Oh right. In the plane. Ethan. I look at my side and there he is. Sleeping on his tummy. Hugging the pillow with both his arms. The sheet is dangerously low. I can see his muscled back. And the shape of his ass through the sheet hugging him. His back has several tattoos but there’s one that goes down his right side. It looks like death. With shades and clouds. Underneath it says “who dares wins”

Esmeray held her forearm up, examining the intricate tattoo that adorned her skin. The tattoo depicted a majestic wolf, its eyes fierce and determined, surrounded by swirling patterns that seemed to dance with a life of their own. The lines were bold and precise, giving the impression of strength and resilience. “This tattoo is so unique,” Esmeray remarked, tracing her fingers over the contours of the design. “I’ve always felt a connection to it, but I never knew why.”
