His body stays coiled around the Luna, tense and ready, but he doesn’t stop her as she steps forward and lowers herself to her knees beside the ruined bed. I hold my breath. Eleanor gently extends a hand and places her palm against Luna Diana’s forehead. Dominicus’s eyes follow every movement, but he doesn’t growl again. Eleanor closes her eyes. Her breathing deepens. ELEANOR The tension in my body became unbearable. Every second made it harder to contain. I'd lost control—I couldn't hold back anymore. My hormones were in charge now, not my mind. I know already that she has an idea on who the traitor could be just by using her eyes. And when Eun’s eyes met mine and even gave me a wink, I knew then and there that she knew who it was, but her sly smirk made me realize that she’ll never open her mouth about it. It looks like she wanted the others to find out for themselves. One thing is for sure, Eun really is scary.

The massive beast let out a low, deeply possessive rumble that vibrated through the very earth beneath them, claiming her. And in her fading consciousness, as the darkness finally took her, Elena heard a deep, velvety, baritone voice echo directly inside the chambers of her mind, heavy with an absolute, terrifying possessiveness: “I have found you, my little Luna.”

I gulped and studied her face for a second. “He could be a good man.” I mumbled. “He could be worthy.” Emma sighed and shook her head. “Eliza doesn’t like him.” Emma said, making the curiosity inside me grow. “She likes his wolf, but not Nathan.” Leon perked his ears. ‘Did Eliza tell you about this?’ I asked him. ‘No.’ he said, focusing on Emma. “She doesn’t like him?” I mumbled. “No.” Emma confirmed, shaking her head. “She said that Nathan is reckless and impulsive. She doesn’t blame Noel, though. She said that Noel is a good wolf.”

I said, in a mocking tone. " Focus on the business at hand and stop mocking me." Joey said, shaking his head. That was true. I still have an angry woman to pacify. The discussion between Joey and I ended. Then I faced Eleanor's mother. " How can I not come to the home of a beautiful queen goddess who gave birth to the mini goddess who happens to be my mate?" I said flattering Eleanor's mother Her smile was wider than you can ever imagine. There and then I knew Joey was right about the flattering.
