At one look, you'd think it was a peaceful place, but those who know about the creature living here would think otherwise. "Are you the stable boy?" A voice asked and I whipped my head to see a middle-aged man wearing a eunuch uniform. Unlike most servants and the others, I noticed that eunuchs wear all black and judging by the five wolves around his hat, he must be a high-ranking official. A head eunuch maybe. "Yes, my lord. My name is Silas and I was told that I got transferred here." The eunuch scoffed grumpily. "Prince Leirom chose you. How did you meet the prince?"

This was not what he was told to do. He was just a homeless orphan who accidentally got picked out of the street when he begged for money around the boarding house. The old eunuch scanned him up and down, offered to work to serve his master only for a night. In return he was promised a gold coin. He originally thought that he could get extra money if he followed the taijian. He thought he got recruited just to be a servant. He regretted that he did not feel suspicious when the old eunuch let several servants scrub his skin sneakily clean and fed him some delicious food before this high profile man arrived.
