Adalyn lifted the bed and saw something that resembled a human’s head; she used her torchlight to aid her view. “Oh, no!! Louise!!” Adalyn said and ran out of the room. “What’s it mum?!” Olivia said as she ran to the sitting room. “Your father is dead!!” Adalyn said. “Dead?!” Olivia said and fainted. Adalyn did all her possible best to resuscitate her daughter but all to no avail. A few minutes later, Olivia died. “Olivia!! Olivia!! Olivia!!” Adalyn said with sobs and ran to the king’s palace.

She was not the hero she was meant to be but she still helped me to the very end and she lost her life because of me. “I promise I won’t allow your death go in vain” I muttered to myself as I sniffed back a tear. I wasn’t sure why the moon goddess was playing these kinds of games with me but this was getting too much—out of hand to be precise.
