Destined Encounters

Destined Encounters

At this moment, I couldn't help but feel my shoulders tremble, a faint smile playing on my lips, tears glistening in my eyes. Every cloud has a silver lining. Some things can wait a little longer, move a little slower, and it's all part of the best plan. So, let's start anew, beginning as friends.

Convergent

Convergent

“Calm down, baby. It will all be over soon. We will catch your father and you will never feel like this again, I promise.” I let my head fall to the side, as I told him. “How can you be sure?” Alec interrupts, saying, “we must have faith in fate, my dear. Every cloud has a silver lining. I know it all seems like a lot right now, but I agree with Eric. This will pass. We just have to make sure we survive.”

When the Clouds Finally Break

When the Clouds Finally Break

On the day my daughter is discharged from the hospital after recovering from the flu, I run into my ex-husband, Zachary Levine, whom I have been divorced from for seven years. He is there to pick up his wife, who has just given birth. He looks a little surprised as his gaze moves up and down to take in my clothes, which is still stained from my child's vomit. I had no time to change out of it earlier. "Long time no see. How have you been lately?" he asks. I smile and say I am doing fine. As we are about to part, he grabs my arm. "Alyssa, our son misses you a lot. If you are having any difficulties, don't push yourself. The passcode for the house in the north of the city is still your b

Rebirth of Luna Amber

Rebirth of Luna Amber

They flew in echelons and I continued to watch until they were a tiny dot in the distance. The distant clouds had clear silver linings surrounding them and they even added to the beauty. Everything about the place was just what I wanted at that moment, peace and calmness with the one person I loved so much. Kaden was also silent as we admired the beautiful moment, it felt like something we would never get to experience again.

The Alpha's Regret: His Secret Hybrid Heir

The Alpha's Regret: His Secret Hybrid Heir

And then the light. Silver. Clean and cold and enormous, shooting straight up through where the cathedral roof had been, through the remains of it, into the night sky above the northern sector. Not a fireball. Not smoke. Just raw Silver frequency released from twenty years of compression, going up and up and dispersing at the cloud line in a slow, wide bloom that lit the forest and everyone in it from above. The stained glass that the centuries hadn't already broken finished breaking now. Elena heard it, a cascade of small, clear sounds underneath the larger ones, almost pretty.

Mafia’s Contract: Tormented III

Mafia’s Contract: Tormented III

And I just loved her. God, I loved that little girl. The past few weeks have been nothing but days cooked straight from the kitchens of hell, and I was utterly ready to put everything behind me and move on with my life. I wanted to focus on the better things, stop wallowing in self-pity, and find it inside of me to forgive myself for not being able to protect my baby with Mel. Only then would I be able to sweep the whole thing and just... Live. But they do say something about dark clouds and silver linings. Although the said silver lining was still not seen yet, I was very much certain that the sun was going to shine after a very stormy day. I could feel the rays of the new sun inside of me.

Sacrificed To The Alpha

Sacrificed To The Alpha

She walked closer and looked up to see the most magnificent sight she had ever witnessed. The clouds were scattered across the sky, each one a different color and shape. They moved quickly, too fast to follow, yet Jewel couldn't tear her gaze away. She was entranced by the beauty of the sky and its ability to mesmerize anyone who gazed upon it. For a moment, she forgot about everything else in the world, and there was only the sky. As Jewel watched the clouds move and shift, the same thought kept repeating itself in her head: this is a sign. She smiled. This was definitely a good omen.

Reclaiming His Banished Mate

Reclaiming His Banished Mate

The second morning of the trial turned out to be the last. Much to the relief of everyone within Midnight Forest, and I imagine Silver Stream as well. The sky was clear, but cloudy. A storm brewing on the horizon, black clouds swirling around the distant forest. A storm we sat within the centre of. The air heated and uneasy as we waited in a calm filled with fraught anticipation.

This book is so stupid !!! How can an Alpha be a mercenary ? And how can she think that he won't ever find out about the kids ? He smells Luca on her but he can't smell the kids ? This is no werewolf romance, it's just a waste of money and time !!! ZERO stars from me but I wanted my post to be seen

Like the other stories of this author, it didn't disappoint. I know Rosie Griffin from another reading platform and I strongly advise you to read her stories. They are beautiful and her writing style is unique.

THE ALPHA WHO SAVED ME WITH HIS MATE BOND

THE ALPHA WHO SAVED ME WITH HIS MATE BOND

ASTRID I zoomed through the usual routes I took on my daily runs, trying to make it back to the Silverwood territory before the darkness fell upon me. I would have left earlier, but I had been too exhausted to do anything throughout the whole day. I looked up at the rapidly darkening clouds just as two lightning streaks flashed out, accompanied by a loud crack! "That's strange," I muttered because it was completely unusual for it to rain during autumn. Perhaps the weather was just being dramatic. I had barely finished the thought when cold drops began to spray down upon the earth, rapidly increasing in torrents and muddying the ground of the terrain.

She slowly opened them and what she saw was a spectacular view of an orange and red clouds mixed together and the sun sometimes covered with thick and fluffy clouds. "I think it's good to have good memories sometimes." Selmish spoke. "Yeah, I think I've been burying myself into problems all this time that I have no time to appreciate the beauty in front of me." "And that's why I'm holding it closer to you, so you could finally notice it."

I really liked this book. Too bad it ends after 36 chapters and hasn't been added to in a couple of weeks. If y'all want people to pay to read your books, at least write something. This is the second book, this has happened with. I think I'm done with good novel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Man, 'Silver Lining' is such a gem—I stumbled upon it years ago and still think about the characters like old friends. The author, Lili St. Crow, has this knack for weaving dark, atmospheric YA fantasy with just enough hope to keep you hooked. She also wrote the 'Strange Angels' series, which I devoured in a weekend once. What I love about her work is how she balances gritty realism with supernatural elements, making her worlds feel lived-in.

If you enjoyed 'Silver Lining,' you might dig her other standalone novels—they’ve got that same raw emotional pulse. Honestly, St. Crow’s writing feels like a whispered secret you can’t help but lean into.
