Full Moon Curse
I smirk, remembering Heather curled up in bed contemplating the world.
“She’d always wonder what happened to make the evil villain that way. She’d always tell me, ‘Mom, no one is born evil, right?’ She believed good and evil was relative, because both sides think they’re right, and we only get to hear the side of the heroin, never the villain. But she believed the hero was never truly innocent.” I tell her, thinking of tiny Heather’s big eyes focused on me when she’d think about it, knowing I’d have all the right answers.
