Evil, as we perceive it, is merely the absence of good, much like darkness is the absence of light. Within me, there exists no inherent goodness, light, or kindness, only a drive for self-preservation and a thirst for power to ensure that no one ever stands in my path again.

“And who is that? Whose name did he call?” Alex hesitated, eyes flicking to the glass where Darrius still sat, smirking at nothing. “Can I ask you a question first?” “Yeah. Eve is mine, and nobody dares touch her family. I promised to avenge their deaths.” My voice hardened. “But that doesn’t mean Darrius is free. That man was a murderer too. Anyway, enough of the too much talking.” I shook my head, frustration boiling over. “Tell me who that is.”

Brand's brother turned to him, seeking guidance, just as Brand became aware of the stickiness on his hand. He at first ignored it. He subdued the Ten Villains and renamed them the Ten Heaven Masters.
