Her humble attitude and the apologizing bow eased everyone's anger. After apologizing, the woman raised her head and walked fast to Yagyuu Genpachiro and Sato Junichi. The two's faces were swollen, but their expressions became humbler. They lowered their heads and answered, "Yes, Miss Chiba.'

He just lowered his head, a deep, incredibly painful sigh escaping his lips.

"Guy or girl?" One of them muttered something in Japanese, and they all laughed. I caught the words okama and weirdo. I tensed. "Sorry," I said, attempting a smile. "Could you please repeat your order?" "Yeah, tell the tranny to bring us gyoza," one of them said in English, smiling at the others. I blinked. “Be late Yuki, do not engage!" I said to myself breathing in “would you like anything on the side of that young misters" I said smiling so hard I saw them visually cringe.

"Hajimemashite. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu." Nice to meet you. Please treat me kindly. Mrs. Tanaka's face lit up with genuine surprise and delight, her formal expression melting into warmth. "Oh!" she exclaimed, then launched into rapid Japanese that I could not follow beyond recognizing it as enthusiastic. Mr. Tanaka smiled broadly and responded in careful English. "My wife is very impressed by your Japanese. She did not expect you to know any at all." "It's extremely basic," I said quickly, feeling my cheeks warm with embarrassment. "I only learned a few essential phrases this week, specifically for tonight."
