the CEO heir wants his stepmother

the CEO heir wants his stepmother

He set me on the edge of the bed, knelt in front of me, and took both of my hands. “I have a prototype,” he said. “Something I’ve been building in the lower labs since the residual signatures first appeared. It is designed to invert the extraction pathway—to make the system’s own targeting mechanism feed back on itself. It is untested on a living subject. The risk is not small. But if it works, the next probe will not only fail. It will damage the architecture on the other side.” My heart hammered. “You want to use me as the living subject.”

Bearing Triplets After Forced Marriage

Bearing Triplets After Forced Marriage

“Illegal experiment? He’s still human, isn’t he?” “So what? This kind of experiment has been around for years. Ordinary people can’t tell anything on the surface, but it’s cruel—inhuman. I once hacked into a mysterious website and saw a project labeled biochemical experiment. It looked like the work of a dark organization. I tried to break deeper in, but the system blocked me every time. They’ve got both talent and cutting-edge tech experts on their side.” Her slender fingers flew over the keyboard. Minutes later, a black webpage appeared on the screen, displaying a skull-shaped logo.

THE TRIBID HOCKEY GOD & HIS OBSESSION

THE TRIBID HOCKEY GOD & HIS OBSESSION

That doesn’t go over well. Of course it doesn’t. Because they don’t want logic. They want blood. “Isn’t it true,” another journalist jumps in, “that your fabrics are infused with experimental compounds?” There it is. The angle. The narrative they’re trying to build. “Define experimental,” I say. “Unregulated, untested. Potentially dangerous.” “Then no,” I reply. Flat. Immediate. Unapologetic. “Absolutely not.” A pause. “Are you willing to recall the product?” someone shouts.

Spoiled by Mr. Russell

Spoiled by Mr. Russell

“I believe it would surely succeed, although we’re still at the experimental stage. Do you know that every success is built on countless failures? You pulled it off, didn’t you? “Did you know that your finished products got an anorexic child to eat something? We've just placed a pot of flowers by his bed, along with a few drops of essential oil." In spite of himself, he became animated when discussing this. He saw the result, and it was shockingly effective. Of course, as the products were still experimental and had not undergone vigorous and advanced clinical trials, they could not be put to wide use and could only be done in secret. “You guys used it on a person?” Shocked, Lily bolted to h

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.

Chasing His Kickass Luna Back

Chasing His Kickass Luna Back

I continue a moment later, “can you tell me about the treatment first? Karl said it’s experimental.” Dr. Armitage beams, his eyes twinkling behind his round spectacles. “Ah, of course,” he says. “It is experimental. It’s quite revolutionary, actually.” He gets up from his seat and waddles across the room. Karl and I watch as he opens a drawer in a repurposed vanity and pulls out a small vial, the sound of glass clinking as he shuts the drawer. He walks back over to me, holding it up. “It’s a potion I’ve concocted,” he says. “Patent pending, of course. In combination with various rituals, I’ve seen a lot of success in my patients.”

Toying Alpha

Toying Alpha

She had a limited amount of time to try and find proof and with the controlled chaos inside the lab it would take some time to find any. Papers. Lab results. Medical document. Zander had—yikes, she should not be reading that. Jamie gave up on the papers, moving to the file cabinets. Alphabetical medical records. History of supplies. Trial testing—finally she was getting somewhere! "Trial one—nope, this seems to be the baby stages of their experiment for whatever concoction they were trying to whip up. Maybe…experiment one." She found the trial documents in the cabinet below. "Experiment one, failed. Experiment ten, stoned to death. Experiment twenty-one, torn apart. Experiment 46—"

The Divorced Billionaire Heiress

The Divorced Billionaire Heiress

Clayton felt that the mental torment was greater than his physical pain. “Come with me. One of my latest experiments is to atomize the toxin from marine animals to stimulate necrotic bone cells. There may be a response. Yasmin doesn’t meet the requirements of this experiment, but you do. Mr. Lieberman, no one is more suitable for this than you.” Sebastian’s words slowly reached his ears. Jeff slowly raised his head. His eyes were bloodshot and gloomy, and his voice seemed scratchy. “What if it fails?” Sebastian’s smile was stifled. His eyes flickered, but he spoke bluntly, “If it fails, we’ll try our best to rescue you.”

I love that she doesn’t get back with Eric. If this was real life no one would want to get back with their ex if they were constantly ignored by the husband and mistreated by the family. Eric was an effing creep and a stalker. Why should she get back with him

I have read a lot of webnovels and this is still my favorite. I love that both male leads are complex character. Clayton was not made to be a perfect polished character vs Eric’s mistakes. This was a great flip on Billionaire romance Nicole is the billionaire lead with two men vying for her love.
