The Fallen Alpha’s Pregnancy
I pull until the plaster cracks.
"Where are you?" I scream, my voice cracking with desperation. "Show yourself!"
I rip a panel from the wall, and there it is. A small, black lens, blinking with a tiny red light. It is embedded in the wiring, a parasite feeding on my privacy, listening to every breath I take.
"You’re dead," I hiss at the camera. "You hear me? You are dead."
I smash it with the iron poker. The glass shatters, and the red light goes out. I stand there, chest heaving, the room feeling like a coffin. I have been exposed. Every word, every movement, every secret I thought I had kept... they have it all.
