Ezra Cole survived it with what appeared to be complete indifference to the fact that it was happening. He was wearing a simple white Henley, the kind with three buttons at the collar, two of which were undone, and dark trousers that suggested he had somewhere to be later that required slightly more effort than the Henley implied. His hair was slightly less arranged than it had been last night, which somehow made things worse rather than better. There was a small crease along his jaw from sleeping on his side, barely visible, the kind of detail that the morning revealed and that evening would have hidden. He was looking at the pineapple.

He revealed stone cut abs etched in bronze rock that had me aching to run my fingers down them all the way to the V disappearing down his pants. I think I jumped, where did that come from? He pushed his pants down next, exposing his toned leg muscles and a pair of Calvin Klein briefs. I swallowed, trying not to go there, battling to keep my eyes from his crotch. Gosh, I hoped no one noticed how pink I was. “Alex here is going to attack you,” Miller said calmly. “Attack me?” I snapped my head in his direction.

There was nothing more appealing to me than a man who worked out. “Nothing that involves clothes,” Ezra replied. “Great, because I was just imagining you without clothes.” He barked out a laugh. “Really? You? I’m usually the one drooling after you.” “I just don’t make it obvious.” “Let’s go test out the couch then.” I stopped him by the front door suddenly. He raised his brows questioningly. “What?” “I told you I was thinking about you naked.” I grabbed the bottom of his shirt and pulled it over his head.

Didn't he just need to zip her dress down, did everything have to be so dramatic just to scare her? As if provoked and not wanting to be intimidated, Becky straightened her body, which was wrapped in a dress that was torn in the middle, her eyes gleaming in defiance of her master. James Miller snorted then smiled broadly, “Look at you, you have the courage now?” he teased, one of his hands that were holding the scissors pushing Becky's dress off and fell to the floor leaving her standing with only her panties and white bra.

Ezra was waiting in his car and had sent Milan home. She kept pestering him about what was going on with Miss Facer and him, so she could find a way to cover it up if news arrived. He had told her nothing was going on and that he just wanted to take her out to celebrate. We froze. And in walked Ezra. He stopped short. And stared. His chest rose and fell. His damp hair was tousled from the rain, and a drop slid down his temple. He was shirtless again, wearing only low-slung sweatpants. And the way he looked at us—no shock, no anger—just…heat.

He was in an awful state as he wove about in front of her, clutching the door frame to keep upright. Daylight seemed to have an adverse effect on him as he screwed his eyes up. The miserably grey day was burning up his retinas, and he peered out at her from sleepy eyes. Millie gazed up at him. She swallowed painfully as she took in his physique. He was perfect, she had seen him display his perfectly toned six-pack in the magazines she used to read when he was a model and seeing him shirtless in real life was a dream come true. Sir Miller guided Chelsea to the table where his sister Rachael Miller was entertaining her guests , once they reached their table , Sir Miller bowed to her and turn around to leave but not before taking a good look at her revealing front . Chelsea ignored him , she wasn't the only one , Even Rachael , his sister ,was wearing a sleeveless, V neck gown which was even more flashy than hers . Taking a deep breath , she firmly pressed her lips into graceful smile , it was time to step into the battle .
