I mean Cara’s kidnapped, tortured, raped, violated and then is rescued and has a psychotic breakdown then is all of a sudden better and has sex with the phantom. I was assaulted not raped or anything and it took me a year to even start to mentally recover and trust new people

Finally, a really good book. Quite well written, great characters, awesome plot and a nice believable HEA ending. Strong female characters, shaped with respect, as it should be. Very well done, author, worth of my time, gems and money. This is how all mafia related books should be written. 5 stars.

The Princess And Her Peasant

The Princess And Her Peasant

"Just go back. Can't you hear loved ones talking? They are asking you to come. Your silly peasant will dig your grave and grab you back to his arms if you don't go." "But-" "Shh. Go back. You have a lot of time left. Especially to show everyone what a badass you are." Saying that, she fades into nothingness, and my surroundings turn black.

My Heartless Husband Wants Me Back

My Heartless Husband Wants Me Back

~I got way too much time to be this hurt Somebody help, it's getting worse What do you do with a broken heart? Once the light fades, everything is dark Way too much whiskey in my blood I feel my body giving up Can I hold on for another night? What do I do with all this time...~ She continued, until it came to the last line of the song where she slowly opened her eyes, as tears freely flowed in her face for everyone to see.

I like the beginning of the story, it's heartbreaking. I thought she would remain weak like most stories I read, but it seems she will soon learn how to fight for herself. Plus, I like the flashbacks you gave us, keep it up author

I'm so disappointed with the ending author you shouldn't have made grey died he deserved a lot better infact you should've made sophia and grey endgame as for caden he should've stayed alone after redemption.

Mated to my Bully

Mated to my Bully

“Zephyr. Come on man talk to me… no, stay with me. Man stay with…” His voice began to fade, the light in my eyes flickering. Oxygen rushing out of my lugs. I couldn’t hold on anymore. The pain tore my insides. So I stopped fighting, shutting my eyes until I blacked out.

I really enjoy how the story captures the complexity of self-identity and emotional resilience, making it so relatable and inspiring. The characters' struggles feel genuine, and the narrative’s tone is both gentle and engaging.

Old Dreams Fade

Old Dreams Fade

By the seventh year of my relationship with Vanessa McBride, she inherited everything her late sister, Rebecca Holloway, had left behind, including her brother-in-law, Derek Holloway. Every time Vanessa returned from Derek's room, she would hold me close and whisper softly, "Just wait a little longer, Grant. Once I give him a child, we'll finally have our wedding." It was the only condition her family had imposed for her to inherit the McBride legacy. In the six months after returning to the capital, Vanessa went to Derek's room regularly. At first, it was once a month. Then, once every few weeks. Eventually, it became almost every other night. And after six months of being alone every

Fading to Zero

Fading to Zero

Zach stumbled and collapsed to the ground, then suddenly crawled over to my feet. “Coco, I’m sorry! It’s all my fault! Hit me, yell at me, do whatever you want, just don’t leave me, okay? “I know you’re mad at me, and that’s why you even walked away from the company we built together. Tell me what you want me to do. I’ll do anything. Just give me one more chance! “I already contacted the wedding planner. We’ve redesigned everything into a grand ceremony and included all your favorites. Come back with me and we’ll get married right away. Please!”

Frequently Asked Questions

The lyrics to 'Fading' can vary depending on the artist, but one of the most well-known versions is by Twin Flames. It starts with 'I’m fading, I’m fading, into the night,' capturing a sense of melancholy and longing. The song builds on this theme, with lines like 'Every step I take feels heavier than before' and 'I’m disappearing, but you don’t see me anymore.' The chorus is hauntingly beautiful, repeating the title phrase while adding layers of emotion. The second verse delves deeper into the feeling of being forgotten, with 'Your voice used to pull me back, now it’s just an echo.' The bridge shifts the tone slightly, offering a glimmer of hope before circling back to the inevitability of fading away.

What I love about this song is how it manages to feel both personal and universal. The lyrics don’t spell everything out, leaving room for interpretation. Some listeners might relate it to a breakup, while others could see it as a metaphor for mental health struggles. The imagery of fading into the night is especially powerful—it’s not just about disappearing but becoming part of something vast and uncontrollable. The song’s structure also adds to its impact, with the repetition of 'I’m fading' feeling like a mantra that lingers long after the music stops. It’s one of those tracks that stays with you, not just because of the melody but because of how raw and relatable the words are.
