“You heard me,” Henry growled, facing an angered Alipato holding a fireball in his hand. “Toasted fairy with a tiny brain.”
“Say that again, ancient walking dead!”
“Enough, you two,” I butted in, having enough fill of the entertainment. “You’ve seen The Walking Dead?” I asked Alipato.
My fae friend huffed, tossing his fireball into the ground, creating an instant bonfire with the dead log lying on the snow. Fae magic never ceased to amaze me. “I might have been sneaking out of the portal, your highness.”
